Poetry Heals

I wanted, just once in my life, for someone to kiss me like that, with such focus, such desire. And I wanted, just once, to kiss someone like that too. Not because they were around, not because I felt like I should. But because something voracious inside of me wouldn't be satisfied until I'd pressed myself against them.

You will never be too much or not enough for me. You will always be the right amount.

“Met you at the right time, this is what it feels like.”

“Fuck you for leaving. Fuck you for all the times you made me cry. Fuck you for giving up on me. Fuck you for making me feel special. Fuck you for saying things like that and not meaning it. Fuck you for lying to me. But most of all: Fuck you for leaving me when I needed you the most. Fuck you because I still miss you.”

“One year ago I was the most important person in your life. Now it’s like I never existed.”
