Hi, I’m Misty! This is my main blog
I love to read and write. It gives me temporary relief and a feeling of false control over my life, which I like. I feel euphoric when I’m surrounded by books and books and more books, literally a dopamine booster. Bookstores and libraries feel like home to me (writing blog)
I write reviews on books and just like to talk about them (review blog)
I do planting as well. Other than that I do gardening at home in the backyard
I draw, sketch and paint sometimes too. It’s not something I’m really passionate about unlike writing and reading as I find it kind of hard to express myself visually or artistically as compared to the latter, but it is quite fun and a productive way to spend time once in a while and a good distraction from every day life
I like seeing the world through a lens. I like clicking photos of things around me; if I like what is around me
I make collages too
