Irish Dancer💚

Heyyyy I’m just checking in after dancing 3 shows, headed to the fourth and last now for a start time of 9:30pm! It has been a mad mad day but that’s St Patrick’s Day for you! We have nailed every show so far and made a lot of people all over SoCal very happy and I’m so proud of us. And I’m so exhausted. But mostly I’m proud! Also we spent ten minutes trying to teach a room of extremely drunk senior citizens the Walls of Limerick, and that was also a majorly fun time ahaha. Very blessed to be living this Irish dance life!

Happy "is that your real hair" Day ☘

My dance teacher sorta knows my mom isn’t the best, and is always being so kind to me. One time, before a competition, I had run out of my hotel room, and gone down to the ballroom after having a huge fight with my mom. I was a COMPLETE mess, and was about to go on. My dance teacher talked to me calmly, and did my hair, and gave me all of the gentleness that my mom hardly ever does. I don’t know why I am telling you guys this, just that even if your family doesn’t always appreciate how lovely you are, there are always others that will love you, and will treat you sweetly. The cruelty you have been shown is not a reflection of who you are and what you deserve, and I promise, there will always be people like my dance teacher who will take care of you. If no one has told you today, I love you, and I wish I could give you the stars.
