I like ao3 the way it is but a little kudos button or similar the author could leave on comments would be a nice way for an author to go "hi I saw your comment please have this smol heart as thanks" in other words I promise I read your comment, I'm not intentionally ignoring it I just left it too long and now I feel awkward when I shouldn't

i mentioned this before somewhere else but i still really wish the end-of-character-arc choices were point based instead of selection based. and i understand why it is the way it is, likely in part to development factors, but it feels really weird for Rook to be the one to choose how these arcs end. "Oh I can't possibly choose, Rook what should I do" would be okay if it was like, one or two companions but it's every single one. Admittedly some are worse offenders than others, but I think it would work better from a character development standpoint to give the companions some agency in how their arcs conclude.

given that my bow snipe rogue playthrough is like 3/4ths of the way through i might as well finish that one too and put some arrows in Elgar'nan's face

i love how i made Eran to flip off canon (and therefore die) and to just kind of haunt Ariel's narrative a little but look at him now, he's an entire character and even has his own continuity where he lives instead :^)

hang on a second. Lusacan died without needing a warden to kill him. are we writing that off as "the blight is different now :)", it worked because it was Solas (?????), or was Bellara/Neve a badass and told Lusacan to kill himself. My vote is the later.

playing through Veilguard again knowing everything that happens makes all the foreshadowing feel like a hammer to the skull
