Love and Deepspace just announced (june22) that we would get a werewolf love interest(Valko/ Ao yin) unfortunately due to the very strong and negative reaction from the fandom because of many different reasons, they suddenly decided to fully scrap(scapegoat)him yesterday.

Yes, you can like characters like Jimmy from Mouthwashing. They aren't real, liking an evil character rarely leads to harm, it's completely normal to absolutely love a character you'd hate if they were real.
