my favorite thing about doing alternating povs for any lelibeth writing I do is that they take turns being pathetic about each other

[from the kitchen floor, too tired to stand] frazzled inquisitor stumbling into the war room apologizing and that they had a late night, while the late-night-causer stands opposite the table looking more a bit more smug than they ought to

[calmly loading shotgun] and what if Beth doesn't think she was chosen but goes with it anyway because it gets the Inquisition somewhere advantageous. and what if she tells Leliana this and pragmatically it does work in their favor, and perhaps she should be at least a bit put off by what the Chantry would call heresy but she's fallen a too far down the holy-figure-on-an-impossibly-high-pedestal rabbithole and thus becomes blind to Beth's misgivings.
