This is the soccer ball I'm getting for my upcoming soccer adventures!
I loved the contrast of mint, black and that really cool laser red. I know it makes no difference and it is purely aethestic but hey, I'm gonna be spending a loooot of time with this ball!
Happy new year!!
8th and second-to-last race of the year!! (the last is the Marathon!)
Corredores del Sur, 5K! ~ December 7, 2014
I had promised my best friend Pam that we would race together so we signed up in this 5K race last-minute! It is a southern race on a circuit I've never done before: Revolucion. And though it was rainy it was so fun!
Things I Â loved about this race:
Not worrying about my time, just supporting a friend.
Going through parts of the city that were in renovation, and feeling all tough about it!
The mist and rainy day.
Pam was able to complete the 5k in less than 30min!
It was such a great experience that I hope to repeat soon! All in all, the thing I really got to think about when the race was over was something I mentioned some months ago. I really want to do a fast 5k in 2015!
Singing!!
My band has really come along! We got a huge audition at a very prominent rock bar in our city and apparently we are going to be playing there weekly from January on!!Â
This is really so important to me. I love music and being on-stage, but the confidence I needed to go through with this escaped me for years. It still escapes me some days, when I feel the hard stares of the public, judging your moves, your skill, your body. You are so bare and out there.
But I can do this now. I can believe in me doing this now :)
I need that shirt... but mostly I'm posting this because I really want to get pictures like these taken next year!

Breakfast, my love !
Happy Birthday to me!!
26 years old and I feel like I'm really learning so much. Like I'm really just starting to figure thins out.Â
My birthday celebrations were just amazing! I had cake and taco breakfast with my family (we are mexicans after all!). Then I hit a rock bar with all my band friends, my best friend Pam filled my car with post-it notes and Dan took me to dinner and we went to Clinique and he literally bought me everything I wanted! My adorable bosses made me a veggie burger party and got me that HUGE choco-chip cookie!!
I had such a blast!! And I'm pretty sure I got to make about 4 birthday wishes. This was one of the best birthdays I ever had. And also, my last one as a single girl!

Back !
Hi everyone!!
So sorry about the unexpected hiatus that I went into. Since November 1st I stopped queueing posts and had almost no time to log in to tumblr. It doesn't help that I got tumblr blocked at work either :(
But it's not too late! There's lots I want to tell you about!
For example:
First race with the bestie!
My birthday!
My band got some gigs!
Dan's pre-marathon injury
The MARATHON! (and how Dan ran it after all)
New Year's Goals
By the way, I can't believe I kept gaining followers and activity even when the blog was so dead... sure was a beautiful surprise.Â
Thanks for sticking around!!
It is easy to believe we are each waves and forget we are also the ocean.
