Routine: travel, work, eat, work some more, shower, dinner and drinks, hotel room, more work. All while thinking this is worth it. Work hard be successful. Retire early and enjoy life.
Reality: hard work yielded position and status. I have a good life. I travel all the time. I’m on a path to retire by 55. Only a few more years. The shitty part, lonely all the time. Just want a tight group of friends to hang with and enjoy the life I have built but have no time to enjoy.
No regrets though. I will retire way early. I will have the time to do all the things I want with the people I want in my life.
