Something I made to try and battle the artblock
April gazing at the Future.
TLDR: The other day I came across a picture of a Hitachi catalogue [the one on the left] I believe, and many people commented how the woman posing in the cover looks almost like the 1987 TMNT version of April 0´Neil. Thus I decided to make this fanart, based on that piece of promotional photography [the one the right].
I also followed as best as I could the official model sheets produced for the cartoon series. Also I have to mention that I was going to make an alternate version featuring April's redesign in the "RED SKY" seasons, something I may do later, who knows.
Fun fact: the model number and letters present in the camera April is holding are a "hidden reference" that is a bit convoluted but makes sense to some degree...
Gumi the Galactic Giant
in-universe lore:
Released between the mid 80s and 90s, Gumi Megpoid's: The Galactic Giant was a concept album released in three parts (or acts as they're referred to), featuring a collaboration between the Vocaloid and Utau communities of Synth Music that were the trend at the time. Starring Gumi and Teto, and other stars of their respective groups, this album; through its music and songs tells the story of an inquisitive, 400ft tall, galactic giant, who decided to hit up Earth out of sheer curiosity, and perhaps meeting a new friend or two. And with the later acts, Earth's boundaries were open for more intergalactic visitors and other exciting phenomena. While there were some bumps in the road, the trilogy proved to be so strong in its impact and reception from the fans and listeners alike that it later received one spin-off or special LP and a robust line-up of merch.
Bike Robo stands before you!
This fanart featuring our favorite red roadster uses a "retro-styled" filter through an online app that's available to the public, a link will be provided right here: HEISEI-VHS So for those interested in giving it a go, there you go~

RANMA LEO!
for my birthday pal @michaelmac6072
Its been a long while hasn't it? And it has been even longer in regards to the context behind this fanart. Soooo~ a recap is needed! Anyone remember my ELELUM fanart? Well, this mashup of Ranma and Ultraman Leo comes from the same Ultraseven/Urusei Yatsura Doujin. As said fanmade publication includes a short segment featuring the cast of Ranma as the MAC defense team with Ranma ..hilariously transforming into Leo through a well placed splashing of water instead of the Leo ring~ And even more hilarously Genma is casted as a Pandafied Alien Magma. A shame we didn't spend more time with this mash but what is there is fun.
THE VISITOR: The Rumbling of the Deep
𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐒𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐃 𝟐: 𝐀 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐞

Will the world survive the advent of its new ruler? Will humanity contend with the judgement of the Emperor?

𝙈𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙒𝙖𝙧𝙢𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙃𝙞𝙙𝙚...
The origins of the Devil Invaders in the Machine Robo storyline (1985), to me at least, falls in the Cosmic Horror category--think about it, the Devil Invaders were MR's and became victims of the warping powers of the Casmo Zone once the star near Romulos went supernova and collapsed into a black hole that lead to this nightmarish dimension--It is because of this fact that I decided to go with one of the best cosmic horror stories of the decade for this parody/fanart.
𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙣𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙗𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙚...
It started out as simple fan art—a reinterpretation of Gobots' Crusher as a treat for myself—but gradually I developed this small design theme and aesthetic with reference to retro magazines such as Newtype.
To be honest, I had always wanted to try my hand at magazine cover design, but thanks to the advice of my sister, who is well versed in graphic design, I think I was able to express this look well.

Give me SIX characters to make SIZE FANART
Originally planned to be released on Twitter only to be postponed for 3 years due to the shifting status of the site as whole. This was planned to be, essentially, my take on the six fanart challenge over on said site but for the size community and in it I chose 6 lucky suggestions which I decided to compile and share here! So without further adieu...here's the entire collection!
Dark Awakening

My first screenshot/frame redraw ever!!
Fluffy Puft Sky(line)
For @saffrox7650 I hope you liked this as much as I have when making it~
Based on a piece of art Saff drew a long time ago
I liked their design so much I made it into a fan art [a fanart I had sitting on my archives for a while btw--sorry for the wait] where I gave it the "canon" size of the original Stay Puft boi from Ghostbusters~
ELELUM
For my buddy @michaelmac6072 I hope you've enjoyed this as much as I had in making it! :)
Irene Lew: Devil Buster
[Headcanon/Fanfic] TLDR:
FILE NAME: Magkoss
After the investigation/hunt for Jaquio and his ultimate end in the Amazon [and before the Dark Sword Incident]; CIA operative Irene Lew would formally become acquainted with the last person on the world bearing the title of Dragon Ninja--Ryu Hayabusa.
The two would team up once again, this time around they work together to stop a dark plot orchestrated by a war cell in a disclosed installation, this cell is using an artifact called "The Eye of Magkoss" that can shape shift the mass of any object or person. And it just so happens that both Ryu and Irene infiltrated in the middle of their tests on humans!
Thankfully the cell was stopped, but in the meantime as the Eye of Magkoss is figured out, Irene has to guard the unlucky person that was..quite literally..sized down a notch..
Ah~ it feels great to draw wholesome/cool stuff once more, especially G/t related.
Depicted here is Ninja Gaiden's heroic lady and starcrossed lover to Hayabusa; Irene, saving the lone victim from an unusual, demon-made contraption, plus the aftermath from the final blow given to the wilder of the Eye.
PD: A shame there's not enough Fanart of not just Irene Lew herself but for the Original Ninja Gaiden trilogy [emphasis on the trilogy that uses Roman Numerals and was made for the NES/Famicom]...or even G/t Fanart of Irene.
[fun fact: this began because I fooled around with The Death Generator and made a custom image of Irene saying to an unseen tiny person that "there's nothin' to worry about" and then it clicked and you know the rest X) ]

Coming to your nearest comic book shop.....never
What could've been--the untold odyssey of the Megaroad-01 across the great milky way!
Ever since the original broadcast of Super Dimension Fortress Macross and the release of the music video Flashback 2012, many fans have always wondered what happened to the original cast before the.....how should I put it....."arbitrary narrative decision" [and their rather "questionable" participation via the last piece of Macross Delta content] and since I got on a rather Protocultural mood I decided to make this little Fanart! a mock-up comic cover inspired by The Comico Comic Company's adaptation of Macross through it's Robotech counterpart [specifically: issue 35 ].
[Sidenote: to be honest--its one of the few covers I liked from their work] Basically what I did was: setting it up in the Macross universe and stripping away it's Robotech robes, changing the context of the original [and to quote one of my friends, make it less "Instinctively patriotic" feeling in comparison to the Comico ver.] with "the Eve of the Space Emigration Initiative" as the background/new context.
To be frank with you fellas: Originally I was going to just leave the drawing alone like that--but the idea of making a "mock-up comic cover variant" won me over and honestly it makes me want to practice my skills on creating cover art not just for Macross related content [or any franchise really] but also for my original projects in the near future as well.
Before I end the post with the variants of this Fanart I have some special mentions/credit to give:
Mechaban
I recommend y'all give him a watch or check out his work, as he not only does Macross but also work based on Mospeada and Southern Cross [especially in their Robotech counterparts + the Robotech EU among other cool stuff], and he's the same cool dude who provided us Protoculture Fans a mock-up of what Hikaru's dress uniform might look like which I used for this Fanart.

Aw man!
My first Minecraft fanart! and I decided to make my own take on the iconic Creepy Creeper~
I had tons of fun sketching, tracing, and inking this from begining & end before I then went ahead to add some neat touches [small corrections, texts, and the color filter]. Plus learning a few things along the way while writing the bits of text in this "bestiary" styled log--such as how the enchantment texts in Minecraft are actually an existing font [Galactic Alphabet] as supposed to being made for the game, and that apparently the consensus for the Creeper's scientific name is Creepus Explodus.
