okay so i’ll split these up into my 3 and new vegas ocs; i sadly don’t have any for the other games yet but my brain is storming to make more lol. but firstly, my fo3 ones:

noel thorne (i don’t reeeally remember his last name so i might edit it)

- he was the first one i think i ever made actually

- around mid 20s, bi curious white boy

- i believe his backstory was that his mother was a hunter who was able to secure a deal with tenpenny tower while pregnant; food in exchange for a safe place to stay (it also helped that she would work with security too), so that’s where he grew up. very spoiled and sheltered, and very apprehensive of change. but, the lone wanderer (an old friend used to have an oc for the lw that we shipped with noel </3 i miss them) gets him to get out and explore eventually.

- very technophobic and anxious around machinery; it just doesn’t make sense to him

- also very germaphobic and dirt-avoidant. Like yeaaa it’s hard for things to stay clean in the wasteland no matter where you are, but he’s very much used to tenpenny tower’s relative “niceness” that mud and piles of muck will literally make him sick. Bro is just generally neurotic too

- loveeees piano. His mother had holotapes of piano music and he wants to find a piano to play so bad

- he prefers to not fight, but will use pistols or similar small guns

- in addition, his tagged skills would be small guns, barter, and maaaaybe speech? I can’t decide if he’s actually charismatic or just puts on the air of being charismatic

cheryl “cherry” ferguson

- originally she was like. 19 when i made her but i’d say she’s around late 20s now, trans femme lesbian, white with scottish ancestry

- she grew up a little lamplight kid, being nicknamed “cherry” for her red hair but that suited her just fine; honestly the nickname came first and she picked her chosen name around that but she just likes being called cherry

- after turning 18, of course she was sentenced to go to big town and she does occasionally rest there but she’s more of the adventuring type and likes to wander

- she works as a mercenary sometimes, not because she particularly enjoys violence either but she always wants an excuse to explore or go treasure hunting

- always wears that one pre-war pink dress outfit and a green neck scarf which was the only thing she still has that belonged to her parents

- massive sweet tooth; girl will hoard boxes of sugar bombs and eat them straight out the package

- her tagged skills would be unarmed (she uses a power fist! this was before i even knew about veronica but honestly hell yeah they would be friends), survival, and lockpick (probably something she just picked up; i can imagine her as a mischievous kid breaking into stuff lol)

- she loves mole rats; would definitely have the animal friend perk

and now the new vegas ones! I definitely wanna create more but sticking to authenticity, here are my old ones

amos barlow

- probably the youngest, around 20 to 22 i don’t remember; he was originally intended to be mixed white/native american but as a young kid i just slapped a label on him; i wanna rewrite him and do actual research to make sure his portrayal isn’t disrespectful if that makes sense! i always strive for accuracy and respect when making any characters that belong to an identity i’m not apart of so if anybody had any notes/tips for not just him but any of the others i need to work on please lmk!!

- but yeah, he grew up a member of the boomers but was not into their xenophobic thing so he had to cut ties with his parents and now he chills out working with the crimson caravan doing repairs for them while he figures out his life and tries to unlearn his prejudices

- very much a loner because he had to be, but he longs for friendship :( very awkward socially when he tries to talk to others but he’s very enthusiastic

- gay, but it’s new vegas nobody really gaf

- spent lots of time tinkering with machinery as a kid; he likes the detail oriented work and doing something physical. He also likes it because it makes him feel useful and like he belongs

- a real gentle guy at heart; he’s good and trained with big scary weapons but he also prefers to use his skills for something that isn’t destructive after learning of the boomers reputation in the wasteland (i need to make some evil ocs, all of these old ones are goodie two shoes LMAO)

- has a little sister named tansy

- naturally curious and inquisitive also; a very deep ponderer and brooder

- has a middle tooth gap

- actually really good at singing but he’s kinda too shy to show it off

- tagged skills would be explosives, repair, and perhaps survival? It’s hard to choose

virginia thomas

- she is unfortunately my least developed one so a lot of this might change as i think about these characters more

- mid 30s-ish, black, bisexual/she doesn’t really care as long as she can form a connection with someone

- she originally was a former enclave scientist but i really don’t know if her being a part of the enclave had any meaningful impact or made sense at ALL so she may be a traveling rogue scientist or a followers of the apocalypse doctor instead. This will probably also influence the rewriting of her family and backstory

- in terms of her personality though, she’s also curious, as well as passionate and caring about the topics she’s interested in and she can talk for hours about her favorite subjects

- speaking of that, i think the focus of her studies could be the study of radiations effects on plant life, water, and the weather cycles (her and keely would hit it off probably)

- can warp her words Really well, and possiblyyyy uses this to her advantage to gain information sometimes. She never has malicious intentions, but is very goal-oriented and wants to do what it takes to achieve these goals; she seems to know what to say at just the right time

- big nerd and bookworm, equally as happy to do practical research to back up her knowledge

- collects pre-war toys like nuka cola trucks and robot figurines

- literal sweetie pea, in my head she’s so cutieful and just cares so much about the world and rebuilding the wasteland and she has so much hope despite everything

- tagged skills would be science, energy weapons, and speech

and yeah those are all of them for now!! I am an oc making fiend though so that probably won’t be for long LOL

I did it and my artstyle kinda broke in the process but it was FUN DANG IT
