At The Crossroads, keep going foward

this au is heavily inspired by how souls and possesion work in fnaf. I call this au "possesing a world that doesn't exist" (do NOT pay attention to the huge remnant au i wrote in the corners of each artdump). So in this au after d3r merges himself w hastur and DIES the "remnant" from his soul (im telling u this is really fnaf inspired) gets caught into the metal of the pc trapping his entire soul in. Im pretty much basing this off of the fact that hastur doesnt exactky have a soul since he is pretty much a sort of concept after all and only dies along with d3rs flesh. I think another reason why Hastur didnt want to merge with a corrupt mind like d3rs is bc once the mind has been corrupted the soul acts as some sort of spiritual immune system and just doesnt accept anything as corrupt as d3rs mind into the body. So the merge between hastur and d3r wouldve been extremely painful bc although they are being forced together the soul just tries to repel hastur so its a painful back and forth for the both of them until eventually hastur lives in uncomfortable coexistence (bc of the uninviting soul) with d3r instead of fully possesing him and taking over his mind and soul like what he intended to do with avery bc his mind inst corrupted so ofc his soul wouldnt react. But in this au his soul slips out of the flesh, and since the soul and hastur repel eachother like magnets of the same pole, hastur wasnt dragged along with it, dying in d3rs flesh. Anyway, d3r finds that his soul is trapped inside the mc world, but hastur's creations are just. Gone. Like he never existed in the first place. Despite being extremely confused and disorientated (bc he literally just died and all of a sudden hes stuck in mc???), he goes back to spawn where he finds avery and reassures him and tells him everything. He then does stuff that transports his soul into averys pc? Like maybe through mcs code or something. I think d3r has been stripped of his infinite knowledge, bc yk his soul refuses that shit </3 so it's pretty silent for once. He thinks its nice.

Also dyk about that one indie horror game with the girl her merges her soul into some old game to get away from her horrible life and shes just a ghost that glitches everywhere on the old game? Yeah thats d3rlord. I dont think he would be able to use his mc skin while his soul is possesing the game (and as of current averys pc) because then his soul would be possesing two things which would be straining. Its probably a suffocating, maybe even PAINFUL feeling when first possesing metal (like with the missing children possesing the animatronics) because your soul is gonna be stuck to it like glue. It's something you eventually get used to in time but it doesnt get more comfortable as time passes iykwim

like the missing children in fnaf, they can sometimes remove themselves from their metal vessel, but not entirely. Theyre still tied to their vessel so they cant linger far. So from time to time D3r actually moves out of the pc to temporarily free himself of the discomfort of possesing the pc
