Thank you so much! I know I keep saying this but there are definitely more chapters to come and I really appreciate everyone’s patience when it comes to the matter. Shit has kinda just gotten crazier and crazier over the past year and needless to say I’m currently applying for a new job that won’t cause frequent cptsd flare ups.

I have still been on Sky! Sometimes legit only to do dailies BUT the Sky pursuit continues. I’m loving Season of Carnival all the spirits are so cute and I love the new area. First of all, three easy to access candle cakes love to see it. I also just love the aesthetic. I’ve been thinking hard about how to fit it into my Sky lore and honestly just having fun running around and exploring all the nooks and crannies.

I know I’m sorry they’re coming back 😭😭😭

This past six months has been such a cluster fuck like oh my god, and my editor gets really bad seasonal depression. That combined with us both getting through busy season at work and then slow season not actually being slow put a bit of damper on things, and then getting my business started basically put my life on halt.

BUT my editor is starting to feel better again since we’re starting to move into spring (we live in Washington state in the US though, so that doesn’t mean much I guess /s) and also things are evening out now that my store finally has a permanent manager for the first time in like six months and my schedule is no longer looking like a pendulum.

It is the busiest time of the year at work right now but somehow this morning we had some rushes but were not busy enough to actually have our three hour morning rush. I base my entire mental everything on this rush and my audhd ass was therefore left severely understimulated.

Here is a list of some of behaviors my baristas witnessed from their supervisor (me for some reason):

-meowing softly while putting away bottles of vanilla

-walking in circles between taking orders over the headset

-grabbing a wet drain cover and slamming it onto the wall to create a “wipple” (wall nipple)

-kick the same wall repeatedly

-“I NEED STIMULATION IN MY ENCLOSURE”

since dreams guide is arrested and the dreams skater was mentioned to have died years ago, what happened to the rest of the dreams cast in Small Creatures? will we get to see them in the fic or are they unrelated from skater and dreams guide?

Oh the rest of the dreams cast is still there! I plan on having them show up intermittently throughout the story. Spinning Mentor is written here to be Dreams Guide’s sister, so she knew the twins. Peeking Postman was the slightly older friend of Skater and the twins when they were younger and she still stops by and talks to them. Dancing Performer was her friend and their impromptu uncle. As for the Bearhug Hermit, I’ll admit I haven’t 100% established how they tie into everything, but they’re definitely there.

Hey random ass question about Small Creatures, are aurora's warriors like preachers or smh?

Hello so sorry it took me so long to get to this the past like three days haven’t felt real

Anyways that’s a great question! TBH I’m not even 100% sure on what they are yet. I think they’re people that developed a particularly strong connection to the spirit of Aurora (the spirit of connection) in their lifetimes and dedicated their lives to her ideals. They’re not preachers but they were definitely religious in some way. I also don’t think they met until after they died. They’re all existing in the story itself but they’re spattered across the realms.
