Mr. Puzzles and RGB wanting the drama to stop and make peace
My sincere apologies if this drawing makes you upset, I made this short comic as a peace artwork for both of these characters. I can understand this whole drama is really stressing you out, itās stressing me out too and I canāt stop thinking about it. But Iām hoping to at least help you find a better solution to ending this drama for good and maybe share my thoughts on this whole situation. Bear in mind, if you donāt want to read what I have to say you can ignore it. But it would be much appreciated if you take some time to read what I have to say.
In my opinion, I really donāt think a C&D on Glitch is the right way to go. I can understand you want to reach out and talk to them about the whole situation, but forcing them to talk to you is kinda pushing things a bit too far if Iām honest. Iām guessing a lot of other people have told you this before, so sorry if Iām repeating it here. Though yeah I can see they didnāt respond back to you after many attempts so I guess itās understandable wanting to take the āforceā option you chose. But Iāll also mention that Glitch already has their hands full with the amazing digital circus final episode coming to theaters, so sending a C&D at this time isnāt really a great idea, Would be best to wait until they donāt have a lot on their shoulders. Besides, SMG4 has already ended and Zam are the ones to continuing Mr. Puzzles story. This is just my guess but Perhaps Glitch/SMG4 canāt really help in this situation because they are not in control of Mr. Puzzleās story anymore. Of course the choices they choose aren't perfect, Glitch and Zam are both small studios that are trying to grow too. So you can't expect them to satisfy everyone and meet your demands immediately. All of us arenāt great with our decisions either, Even trying to āforceā a conversation on them sounds a bit much. But I canāt blame you and J4A for using force after so many attempts to talk to Glitch.
I can see youāre not happy with Cube/FMās statement which is understandable, but thereās maybe a reason to why he didnāt present any proof or didnāt mention you in the first place. Perhaps Cube didnāt have any proof of Mr. Puzzleās sketches because itās all classified (as in heās not allowed to post the sketches), or maybe he didnāt have the proof with him. But if you want proof, check out the SMG4 movie: Itās Gotta Be Perfect. Mr. Puzzleās clearly started out as just a floating TV head with big eyes and a creepy smile. He didnāt have a body or a static color bar in his first appearance. He was just a floating TV head with a face. Also For Cube not to mention you in the statement is probably because he didnāt want to attract more haters or harassers to you if Cube mentioned you in the statement. But this is just what I think and we still donāt know the whole story on their side.
Also I donāt think a small redesign on Mr. Puzzleās screen is necessary. Mr. Puzzleās screen is already iconic, forcing a change on it wonāt really fix anything. Iāve mentioned this many times on your previous posts if you read them, but I think Both Mr. Puzzles and RGB deserve to coexist without one of them having to go through a forced change. If you donāt know what I mean, Iām saying let Mr. Puzzles keep his static color bar teeth design as it is. We donāt need to have him change his screen, RGB and Puzzles are literally based on a Television and an iconic error colored screen. My solution is that we leave Mr. Puzzles and his screen design alone, focus on getting the harassment to stop, let RGB and Mr. Puzzles both coexist, and both fandoms of TPOH and SMG4 make peace with each other instead. I agree we should Reach out to glitch or Zam, but we shouldnāt resort to a forced change on Mr. Puzzleās screen just to get their attention. Just telling them to confirm that RGB and Mr. Puzzles are not the same character is enough honestly. They may have small similarities, but they are ultimately different at the end of the day with different stories, different designs, and different histories. If people are gonna point the similarities, then why donāt I review the differences that I see in them. They both have different hats that are placed on different spots on their TV head, the antennas on RGB are flat lines while Mr. Puzzles antennas are more bulgy, Mr. Puzzles has 6 colors of the static bar while RGB has 5 colors, RGB leaks color on his screen when feeling an emotion but Mr. Puzzles screen leaks only if his screen is destroyed (check out the SMG4 movie: Puzzlesvision to know what I mean if you like), RGBās colored bars functions as a mouth while Mr. Puzzles colored bars functions as teeth, RGB doesnāt have eyes while Mr. Puzzles does, and if Iām correct, RGB changes his outfit all the time while Mr. Puzzles keeps his signature outfit. We canāt forget that RGB is from a comic series while Mr. Puzzles is from a 3D animated series. Iām aware RGB came first, but I wouldnāt care if both RGB and Puzzles had a small similarity to one another. Itās just one small similarity, No need to change it all because of one small detail. Similarities to a character happens all the time (I can name a few examples if you like to hear them), so whatās the point in all of us getting worked up over a small similarity we can just ignore it and let creators and artists do what they want? Sorry if that sounded rude, it just confuses me on why we should get worked up over small similarities when similarities happen all the time. A forced change on Mr. Puzzles is also unfair, itās like you are forcing fans who like Mr. Puzzles into a change they didnāt ask for. You and others might say "guess they have to deal with it" but still, you can't force them to get used to it. Everyone has a right to disagree and prefer Mr. Puzzles as he is. Sometimes you got to at least hear everyone elseās opinions on the solution before sticking to it, That also includes hearing out SMG4 and Glitch fans. Also this all started because of these harassers correct? Donāt listen to them, they are just trolls and haters that only seek attention.
Iām not trying to be rude Modmad. I can see this is a lot to handle and I donāt blame you and J4A for going down this path to get their attention, Glitch should indeed talk to you as soon as possible, but knowing what theyāre going through right now, we just got to give them time to get themselves together before trying to get their attention. But hopefully theyāll get the chance to talk to you soon and try to resolve the drama without both of the characters having to change their designs. I still donāt think a āforced changeā on Mr. Puzzleās screen is the right way to go. You might think Iām being unreasonable because of what Iām saying, Though you have every right to HATE me for my statement, but Iām simply trying to help you and J4A find a different solution that doesnāt need both fandoms (people who are both fans of TPOH, CAV, and Glitch) having to suffer through this. Even if a change Mr. Puzzles does happen for his new show, you canāt really get rid of his old appearance on SMG4ās Channel. People are still gonna recognize his old appearance on SMG4. Thatās basically another reason why changing Mr. Puzzleās screen is not necessary, itās already too late and he already made his mark on the internet. Itās just best to leave the character alone and we focus on the real issue, which is stopping the hate and harassment. Once again, RGB and Mr. Puzzles are just different characters at the end of the day.
There is another solution that not everyone is happy with, but I thought it would be worth mentioning. Itās not too late for you and all of us to leave this drama all behind and move on. In many ways, this whole drama is pointless and itās not worth continuing. Keeping this drama going isnāt great for your mental health and I wouldnāt want you to push yourself into a bad spot in this drama. We can all just ignore and drop this whole drama for good and move on continuing to create, draw, and tell more stories of our own. I heard youāve dealt with so much hate for 2 years and Iām really sorry you had to put up with this harassment. You and others might say ignoring the hate is not what we should do and something has to be done on Glitchās end, but this is the internet. Thereās bound to be many haters and harassers out there, but itās always up to us whether to ignore or listen to the hate. This sorta thing just happens š
You may not like what I have to say on this blog so if you must block me, thatās fine. I respect your decision. I just like to at least share my thoughts and reach out to you on all of this. You clearly deserve better mod and you donāt deserve all of this harassment. People and fans need to understand that Mr. Puzzles and RGB are clearly different, if they donāt understand then we ignore them or at least tell everyone the differences. Reaching out to Glitch or Zam is understandable, But Forcing them to talk to you or forcing something on their character is not the right call. A lot of people who are fans of both Mr. Puzzles and RGB are here to help you too, so take time to listen to what they have to say too. I know I may not be able to do anything about this whole drama with what Iām saying, But If youāre reaching out to Glitch, thought I could reach out to you. Small artist to another artist.
