EIGHT FACTS:
Samantha is the second OC I created but the first to be made on Snow Queen. As such, her birthday corresponds to the day I made her.
She is the first OC I aged up to correspond with the time skip in Hilda Season 3
At just barely five feet high, she is the shortest of my OCs.
Despite Hilda being set in Britain, she is voiced by an American doing a British accent.
Her gardening skills came from how there is quite a bit of plant symbolism in Hilda.
I wanted Hilda to just have a nice, more passive friend, so I made her.
Samantha knows about the magical realm but just uses it to keep to her garden.
While she has no magical powers, her knowledge of flowers makes her useful and skilled nonetheless.
INSPIRATIONS:
Tulip (Infinity Train): Smart and resourceful redheads. Infinity Train was only in its pilot at the time, but I still took influence from the character.
Agnes (Despicable Me): Precocious youth; shares a voice.
Chibi-Usa (Sailor Moon): Youngest member of the team with a big heart looking to help.
Alice in Wonderland: Cute and thoughtful young girl.
Isabella Garcia-Shapiro (Phineas and Ferb): Young and cute, but smart and can hang with adults.
Applebloom (My Little Pony): Where her gardening traits came from.
Star Butterfly (Star Vs. The Forces of Evil): Influenced some of her more hyper, super-kind traits. While I saw Star later, some traits influenced later Samantha performances.
