With Burku's appearance, it makes me wonder if Hilda's wilderness home is a lot more crowded than it seems.

Before the prequel comics came out, I think most of us would have believed Woodman was the only neighbor Hilda had for years. Prior to that, it'd just be her and her mum. However, Burku and her parents were shown to know Hilda's family, and even helped them during a crisis.

Hey gang, got something extraaa special today to share with ye! I commissioned the extremely talented guynamed.reg on TikTok to draw a scene of Hilda and Siobh chilling in Siobh's room after a long day, and think its clear from the final product that they COOKED! 🔥

the paintwork is kinda messy and his arms and legs are so spindly I had to be REALLY careful with him until I got a few layers of paint and varnish down (warhammer paint is the best I love this stuff). also I regret assembling him pre-painting bc peppercorn being there made some of him really hard to get a brush to 😭 so I learned a lot!! and I have some ideas for how I would approach this type of thing better next time. but he’s done 😌

Wanted to try a different method for the shading than what I usually do :D

I think I consider this experiment to be a success, but remain unsure whether I’d attempt that again :]

Carried far from Trolberg by a weather spirit, Hilda finds herself stranded upon a desolate island, littered with broken machines and inhabited by no-one save a single lonely girl. A girl she'll have to rely on, and who will need to rely on her in-turn, if either of them are to get home.
