Hello everyone; I am very sorry for my incessant reblogs. I swear to god I just want to be a normal art account sharing my stories and art with yall. The month of January- February I have had 3 er visits. My sister from an allergic reaction, my mom from an attempt to end herself, and my father for symptoms that mimic a heart attack. Because of these events, my refill plan for my meds has been eclxhausted. I do not have relatives who can help me with my situation, and as I live in the global south, there isnt any reliable government aid for me. I do not have a thyroid as it was removed totally due to a ti-rads 4 mass that was pressing on my trachea- and I also have type II diabetes. I need levothyroxine and metformin to continue living; without these i will literally die less than two months. I am so sorry again, I do not have communitu support outside of tumblr. You don't reblog fanart or gifsets of said black characters. You actively don't follow and ignore the black fans in the space you occupy. When the topic of racism gets discussed in these fandoms there's a lot of denial and throwing stones and hiding hands. On queer visibility days I don't ever see y'all reblogging selfies of black trans women, black trans men, black lesbians black gays or black bisexuals. I very rarely see y'all circulating mutual aid posts of black users. People in NSFW arenas, I don't ever see you reblog content of black swers. For whatever reason y'all keep the black people in your likes. It requires posts to be made white and non black people discussing racism and social justice to actually get some traction when black tumblr users will make the same talking points but get a fraction of the notes.

this was an intersectional attack. the fact that he is indigenous matters, even if the motivation was homophobic, because it made him even more vulnerable and disposable in the eyes of his killer.

all four siblings are fascistic. i wrote a little more about roman's specific attraction to fascism here and how this coexists with his general attitude that it's not 'cool' to actively espouse any ideology. there are more posts throughout my tag 'tripping the light fantastic' that cover fascism and political spectacle on the show, and how roman pushes a fascist candidate both because he thinks it will be profitable and because of the clear attraction between them. in short roman has fascist beliefs and is entirely comfortable espousing fascism despite his cynical and irony-poisoned refusal to say out loud that he has any particular political or ideological allegiance.
Ok also but I do think the subtext of a bunch of "long COVID is why ppl are stupid/mean/shitty" takes is like 1) straightforwardly ableist (the threshold for pathologizing other ppl attributing their decisions/actions/politics to that pathology should be so fucking high and 2) wrapped up in the idea that being conservative = not taking COVID seriously = catching it multiple times = having severe long COVID such that it's like......woke coding using ableist logics to dismiss huge portions of the population + dipping frighteningly far into the idea that being sick is a moral failing.
