hi there! I own what i was told was a barrel cactus, and found a couple of white, hard spots, kinda like scabs, on its bottom. Do you have any idea what they are?

hmmmm. i can't say that i know 100% for sure but it could be a mold/fungal spot? i know that a couple of my cacti have suffered from that in the past and those spots kinda match up with your description. i'm not sure though. just make sure that your barrel cactus gets plenty of sunlight and avoid overwatering it and you should be fine!!
