1.) If Coron was gifted the crown and title, does that mean godhood can be passed on without burying the crown? CAN I USE THAT IDEA!? EXPLAIN 🔫
As far as Thethay looking over Coron’s crown before Coron found it, it was because the crown appeared in what was originally HER grounds. I like to think there are many different ways a crown can be formed and when that formation happens, they appear in places where their future wearers are sure to come across them - Call it fate I suppose! In Coron’s case, The crown was formed WITH her ; As in her and her crown formed simultaneously.
Can Godhood be passed on ; Yes but this isn’t a matter of Thethay giving up her own crown to Coron <3 Thethay stepped down from her title for her own reasons and her crown is out there!- somewhere-
2.) How did… Jaan and Coron breakup. Was it due to Coron relinquishing power and furthermore loosing touch with Jaan. Or this is type of situation of miscommunication? Potentially did she die? Possibly Jaan was around before the discovery of golden skull necklaces?!
For this question imma break into TWOOO parts ; One for each relationship Cori had.
The Fox - It took me a good second to identify what exactly the Fox is
Yknow cuz hes not a god but has SOME level of power-
and then I had the thought like
The way he acts, the abilities he has- the thought i had months ago that he can influence those already struggling with internal affairs-
What if hes the PERSONIFICATION of negative emotions? AND BOOM
Thats what he is to me now
Just as Coron is the personification of faith and positive emotions!
I feel with that similarity in mind, they attracted eachother.
The same way Coron was attracted to her crown (as mentioned in the last set of questions and answers)
As for WHY they ‘broke up’, their differences! “Good and bad? How could we ever work.”
Only those of good faith are welcome in the pray grounds, and The Fox is not of good faith. Not anymore at least
Jaan and Coron never had a label on their relationship. As far as the rest of Cori’s people at the time were concerned, they were just a sweet case of devoted follower and loving god.
When the Era of Falling began and Thethay finally gave up her place, Coron chose to let fate take its course instead of fighting for her place,
[which as a side note ; doubled as a final request from Thethay that she took to heart ]
- And you can’t always expect a mortal to understand a promise between gods. Jaan was Cori’s last dissenter.
3.) I think I remember you saying somewhere that she kept a bit of her power? So would it be like the ‘removing the roots’ spell. In which she takes the crown and it’s control out of her. All the while retaining some power?
Much like the Fox, her powers come from the people. Think of like- My Hero Academia! You have your basic power, and then you have the drugs that given it a MASSIVE boost and sometimes change the power completely!
I think she’s always had the ability to preform small blessings, offer small amounts of devotion and the likes but I think the crown brought abilities to her attention that she never wouldve had without it or boosted the little abilities she already had - One example being her purification ritual (which is just, the cleansing of newcomers or those who have to leave to retrieve materials - tired because some naughty dark canine creature started feeding off your frustrations? POOF! Tire-be-gone!)
Originally it worked for 2-4 people at a time at most and must be used sparingly but when she got her crown, she could purify the pray grounds in their entirety. She cannot do a ritual that large anymore but her purification isnt gone COMPLETELY. Nowadays she’s found other ways to cleanse her people and her lands though)
4.) if Coron or Thethay were to meet Arkmudo or Totaroo how would they react/ what situation do you think they would meet in. Normally most characters who meet Arkmudo seek her out for her wisdom of the universe. With Totaroo, either they fall into one of her sinkholes, or she sneaks up on them (scaring them half to death-)
Coron would definitely be seeking Arkmudo’s wisdom and she’d ADOREEE her. As for Totaroo, i’m not exactly sure how the two would meet but i know she’d find Totaroo very interesting to interact with!
Thethay on the other hand would definitely come across a sinkhole
and I also think they’d be mischievous together (because Thethay is literally like the fun grandma who smacks younger gods with scrolls when theyre bad and swears she doesnt like kids but sneaks random kids treats when she comes across them ) and I think (as she’s goddess of morality) and has been around for SOME TIME, would just enjoy long ass conversations with Arkmudo about godhood and the current ‘little gods’ and the political and economic state of the world /ref
5.) One more thing (sorry I know I’ve spoken a lot 😭😭😭) CAN I MAKE THEM CANNON TO MY UNIVERSE, ALL GOOD IF NOT😁🤘
