Pretty much. Honestly itās a bit rich for a cowardly fuck like Morell to talk shit about Chelsea Manning. In 2015 the man admitted, in public, that he knew the basis for the Iraq War (the whole nuclear weapons thing) was a lie and that he had told Bush and Cheney that it wasnāt true, so he knew that the administration was willfully fucking lying in order to get us into a bullshit war. Of course, he didnāt speak out about it, or resign in protest, or any of that shit, because doing that would have interrupted his illustrious career path. Every single death in Iraq can be put on his head, all of that blood spilled is on his hands ā but of course his objection to Chelsea is that sheĀ āput the troops at riskā (which is a totally debunked lie, but you know, what the fuck does a CIA spook care about the truth?).
tl;dr, Chelsea Manning risked everything she had and gave up her freedom in order to put a stop to war crimes, Michael Morell was in a position to expose the administrationās lies and maybe even stop the troops from being in Iraq in the fucking first place, but instead he decided to keep quiet so that he could continue to move up in the ranks. Heās a loathsome little turd who doesnāt even deserve to be in the same room as a hero like Chelsea Manning, so fuck him.
(Incidentally, to answer your question, she was brought on as a visiting fellow, which is sort of a guest professor position. It may or may not involve teaching classes, more likely involves writing.)
