i feel so useless in my career... to the point where it's almost shameful to even call my past six years as a creative a "career"... i don't know if this is burnout or i'm lying to myself and being lazy but i just... don't know what i'm doing right now.

i've never felt so unmotivated, uninspired... i feel like i haven't improved or advanced at all skill-wise while everyone else is flying towards success and their dreams. what about me? where am i? what am i doing? do i even have what it takes to call myself a designer? am i really a designer? do i have the audacity to say that?

i feel like i've just been pretending all this time, faking it and lying to not only myself, but to everyone around me, screaming "i'm a designer!" when i'm actually not, have never been, and never will be.

#5 years at this company.....#and i have nothing to show for it... no work to put in my portfolio bc everything is absolute shit #i'm so embarrassed to even call this work #everything i've ever designed is trash #i'm so scared to acknowledge the fact that i've truly wasted 5 years doing absolutely nothing

five years at this damn company and still no respect....

i think it's time to start aggressively looking for new opportunities....

#been here 4 years and pay's been at a standstill...#every time i try to negotiate a raise it's always the same damn answer: 'we don't have any money'#yet i've witnessed numerous times when money's been thrown out the window due to bad financial management like oK......#i'm doing the work of an entire team but they don't care lmao #what a shit show... i am so done working for people who pass over all the time and effort i've invested into them #i need to be more proactive to get what i wANT and it's definitely not here :/
