First we start with our favorite pictures of the lead of Psych: James Roday Rodriguez. James was a lucky find for the casting team as he had decided to exit screen acting and focus on theater just as the role became available. James decided to audition, though with little pressure as he was already planning to return to the stage. A lucky find for the hiring team led by Steve Franks, James nailed the audition and the role of Shawn Spencer was born. James then participated in the casting auditions for the rest of the characters, and a magical cast came to be.
