How to learn two languages at once? 🧠✨
Sometimes you want to bring something modern and colorful into what seems immovable. Today I'm sharing my discovery with you - the Braille script!
As you may have noticed, I combined the English 🇬🇧 and Russian 🇷🇺 alphabets in the scheme.
❓Why is this useful and why does it work?
✅ Similarity in shape and sound - letters that are already close are marked the same way.
✅ Parallel perception - the brain automatically builds associations between languages, which simplifies learning. It's like a built-in cheat sheet for your brain!
✅ Aesthetics and simplicity - no unnecessary information, only what truly helps.
No more confusion - just clear associations.Save this so you don't lose it, and enjoy learning languages! 💾💬💙
🌎🌍🌏 I love learning languages. What about you, and which ones are you learning? And sometimes I come across interesting information:
• I was impressed by the Yaghan language. It so vividly shows how language influences thinking:
° One of its words - Mamihlapinatapai (pronounced roughly as "mamihlapinatapai") - made it into the Guinness Book of Records as the most succinct word in the world. It means "a look between two people that expresses the desire of each for the other to initiate something both want, but neither wishes to be the first."
• I also found an interesting term:
° A bilingual is a person who regularly uses two languages and speaks them at a level sufficient for effective communication. This phenomenon is called bilingualism.
