Hereâs a random link drop to a fanfic Iâve been very proud of! This is the summary:
Based on the song "When the First Love Ends" by ryo/supercell ft. Hatsune Miku, specifically the Rachie version in English.
Takes place after the events of Ikari Gozen chronologically (includes Kwamibuster, Feast) - do not read if you do not want spoilers.
Gabriel Agreste, a renowned fashion designer in the city of Love, decides to move to Tibet in an unknown series of events. Adrien has already tried to convince him to stay but to no avail, meaning that a new Chat Noir is needed in his leave. Ladybug is concerned about doing her night job with someone new that she doesn't know, and Marinette doesn't know that her beloved Adrien will be leaving as well, in the dark about his true identity.
The story will focus on Marinetteâs love for Adrien and everything else in her life, and if you know about the song that I based this around, you can see where this is going.

Next time you come home for the night and you start to put your keys away, think of this: Itâs a security alarm system that you probably already have and requires no installation. Test it. It works if you park in your driveway or garage.
If your car alarm goes off when someone is trying to break into your house, odds are the burglar/rapist wonât stick around. After a few seconds, all the neighbors will be looking out their windows to see who is out there and sure enough the criminal wonât want that. And remember to carry your keys while walking to your car in a parking lot. The alarm can work the same way there. This is something that should really be shared with everyone. Maybe it could save a life or a sexual abuse crime.

When I was a child, from the time I was about four and could understand things, my mom told me and my brother that we should have a secret word. That way, if we were ever in trouble or felt unsafe and we didnât want the people around us to know we needed her to come get us, we could let her know. So she let us pick the word and my brother and I chose the phrase âpeanut butter cups.â (Iâm happy to share the phrase now since both my brother and I are adults now).Â
I used the phrase twice in my life. Once, I was at a friends house when I eight years old. Her dad got really drunk and was throwing things against the wall. I was really scared and I didnât want to draw attention to myself on the phone when I called my mom to come get me because I didnât know if he would get more violent if I asked her to come get me. So I called her and was calm and after a couple minutes I asked âHey mommy, did you get me those peanut butter cups from the store?â And she said âIâll be right there.â And she came and got me within minutes.Â
Second, I was a teenager spending the night at a friends house. Her brother and dad were drinking and they started talking about things that made me uncomfortable - ie: what they liked to do to women. My friend didnât seem perturbed and said that was normal for them and that I shouldnât worry. But I was worried because they were really drunk and I was 15 and the only âwomanâ around that wasnât related to them. I went in my friends room, told her I needed to call my mom and say goodnight. Before I hung up with her I asked âNext time we go to the store, can we get some peanut butters cups? Iâve been craving them.â And she came and got me, just like that.Â
Two incidents, one as a young child, one years later as a teen. Donât discredit this stuff, it fucking works. My brother used it a few times too. Let your child pick the word and no never, ever, ever, ever get mad at them for using it no matter what it is.Â
Off topic, but very important! I was taught to yell âthis is not my mom/dad.â A young kid freaking out in public is likely to be ignored out of embarrassment, but a kid telling you right out that they donât know who is messing with them? That will turn heads.

âOh. Itâs you.â The male coldly turned away so his back faced the New Orderâs leader. âWhatever you have to say to me, I donât care.â His words left his mouth mechanically as if he had no soul left.
Jesse took a deep breath. She mentally prepared herself for the possible reactions that could ensue from what she was about to say. âWhat I did to you up there... I donât care. In some form, you deserved it, Aiden.â
He gave no response.
She continued, looking down at the ground. âYou stole our flint and steel, manipulated the leader of a large town and took advantage of their naiveness, used their own materials against them, destroyed the town, and had no regrets about kicking us off the edge which could have killed us.â Blinking, she brought her gaze up to the Blaze Rod whose back was still towards her. âSo what I did was nothing compared to what you did.â
Aiden rustled a bit in his spot but made no movement or comment otherwise.
Jesse took a couple steps forward. âWhen I sent you over, I knew you would live. Thatâs how I was able to come back and fight you. I knew you would survive. But you should know that I really restrained myself. I was this close-â she put her index and thumb extremely close together- âthis close to breaking your arm. And maybe I should have. Maybe it was better I didnât. Who knows? But what I do know is that you are serving time in jail for your actions which came with serious consequences. So even though you may hate me for sending you over harshly, just know that there is an entire town who hates you for almost everything youâve done to them.â
The prisoner mumbled something low enough for her to raise her eyebrow.
âWhat did you say?â she asked.
âI said, I donât hate you.â
The girl was taken aback by the sudden comment but she thanked him anyway. âThatâs cool.â
âI absolutely despise you.â
She furrowed her brow. Well.
âI hope your fangirls and boys learn about your true nature, Jesse, because once theyâve seen it for themselves, they will know that youâre not a hero. Youâre not their savior or role model. Youâre just another person with another selfish ambition to be the one in power.â He turned his head slightly so that he could make eye contact with her. âYouâre just a disappointment to all.â
She gasped, irritated with his behavior towards her. âWell, if Iâm so, then youâre not any better! At least I didnât try what youâve done! At least I know where not to cross the line! If you think Iâm just what you say I am, then youâre going to have to try harder than that! Goodbye, you criminal!â She stormed out the prison, slamming the iron door behind her.
In frustration, she groaned loudly and smashed her fist into an oak tree.
