I do weird stuff??

I saw this the other day and can't stop thinking about them

What happens when Grace doesn’t sleep for 48 hours.

Based on this panel from Dungeon Meshi:

he went into medical school not knowing much about anything sexual. he knew about STIs but was kinda half convinced you could get AIDS through kissing. he knew condoms existed but didn’t quite know how to put them on. he hadn’t examined how the tape metaphor was untrue and demeaning.

and medical school was busy. he wasn’t hooking up anyway. then he lost his housing and he definitely wasn’t having sex. he also knew he was gay and that was fine for other people but he couldn’t let himself indulge in that. at least not yet.

so he learned that he had a lot of misconceptions over the course of his post grad studies. he learned even more on his rotations. he wasn’t one of those guys that thought people couldn’t get pregnant on their periods, he now knew exactly how infections were transmitted, he even put a condom on a banana in the privacy of his bedroom in trinity’s apartment, just so he felt prepared if the day ever came.

he and robby were finally doing more than kissing. robby pulled dennis into his lap, dennis didn’t feel too out of sorts. he’d learned a lot, some on his own, some on the job. and robby was patient and so kind. a teacher in every aspect of his life.

so dennis is shaking, and pale, and it deep in the antipatory grief of losing everything robby seemed so close to giving him- and robby?

unbothered. his eyes are equal parts sadness and kindness and he simply thanks dennis for telling him, that he knows it's a brave thing to do. he pulls dennis into a hug and kisses his curls, and dennis is stiff like a board.

he's not sure what's going on- he's buffering and waiting for the penny to drop where robby throws him out. it never comes, the hug just continues. dennis doesn't realise until he feels heat on his cheeks that he's crying silently into robbys shoulder, unsure what to do with kindness he's sure he doesn't deserve.
