Synopsis : After David Shaw and Sam Cullins learn of their mates being kidnapped they must work together to save em .
Location : Outskirts of Dahlia California
Status of David Shaw and Samuel Cullins : Alive
The sound of fire crackled as The sparks fly as the breeze with all its might tried to put out the fire but to no avail
David : My car is broken down and we are only 1 hour away from our location do you got any suggestions?
Sam : Uh sure we can make it by midnight if we go now Sam replied
still processing the fact this is all happening
The Two men were terrified deep in their hearts yet put up a brave face for their mates they could feel them the core singing loudly . The Forest was met with loud footsteps from the men walking and looking around for any Bennet vampires about luckily the forest has been empty aside from a few bunnies or the occasional deer strolling by the thought of an ambush was never one that made David scared but rather certain especially with a clan as ruthless as the bennetts they don’t play by the rules .
An hour goes by David pushes away a few branches to find a tucked away cabin in the woods with lights on the front porch illuminating a soft orange glow clearly this was the spot their informant told them about
Sam : Are you sure this is the spot ? Samuel asked for confirmation from David
David : yes this is the spot I know Porter wouldn’t lie to us he above all people would want us to avenge him and his mate David replied to Samuel
Sam : Porter couldn’t save his mate but we can save ours we need to put an end to this clans terror he replied with an angry tone
Samuel was terrified and deeply terrified at the same time who knows what the Bennett clan vampires are doing to darlin and angel . The one thing constant was the news that Porter died trying to save his mate who the rival clan took and it was a month till Treasures body was recovered the body was chopped up in pieces and in separate bags one bag contained a head with flesh grey and another bag contained the torso and another contained both legs and arms with signs of decay showing which The Mortician confirmed everyone’s assumptions that the bennet clan killed porters mate the body of his mate filled with multiple stab wounds and bite marks and clear sign of struggle .
Sam and David watched as two guards left towards the bush’s clearly taking a whizz so David and Sam slowly sneaked up on them
David : 1 2 3 David mouthed and a loud crack sounded off as he snapped the vampires neck
Sam: Sam failed to snap the vampire guards neck clearly the one he got was bigger as he clawed at Sam’s arm before he was choked out
David : Nice Job David whispered to sam
Sam : Thank you Sam whispered in response
The two hide the bodies behind some bushes far away from the cabin and they slowly sneaked inside the house everything went great until a drunk vampire took notice and pointed a pistol they left on the table at David
Drunk Vampire Guard: You two are coming with (burp) me (gun cocks)
Sam : hey Davjd why don’t vampires eat clowns he asked Sam eyeing a kitchen knife
David : why sam he replied grabbing the knife and passing it to Sam who hide it behind his back
Sam : because they taste funny Sam replied stabbing the knife into the vampire guards throat
Vampire Guard: s stop he pleaded
Nothing but gurgles left from the vampire the color of red pooled the dark brown cabins floor sounds of air gasp followed by muscle spasm and then silence
David : Didn’t anyone tell you no drinking on the job David replied looking at the vampire corpse
Sam : great job Sam says to David fist pumping the Alpha
The Two walked towards a door leading to a basement the sounds of voices echoed the voices soon dropped down to a single whisper .
The Alpha and The Vampire made it to the end of the stairs met with a group of 10 vampires some with barbed wire covered bats and some with crowbars and some with knives . The one thing Sam and David focused on were the two bodies hanging with bags on their heads no doubt it was Angel and Darlin the bodies covered in deep bruises and Lacerations the kind of wounds that need immediate treatment and a iron cart with wheels had two syringes with medical gloves which meant there was a doctor keeping Angel and darlin alive by pumping em with drugs along with a heart rate strapped to them .
David : My Name is David he says to the Bennett vampires as one of them cuts him off
Vampire guard 1: David Shaw and Samuel Collins we know who you two are he mocks em by spitting at the floor towards em his head giving a slow nod
The vampires got into a fighting stance ready to fight
Sam : are you gonna shift ? He asked the alpha
David : I don’t need to be a wolf to kick some ass David replied cracking his knuckles
Sam : This Ain’t my first rodeo Sam says to himself he’s fought vampires alongside darlin many times
David : let’s do this cowboy he chuckled at Sam
Two vampires with crowbars ran towards David and Sam swinging and missing each of their bits only to be knocked out cold
one by one the group of 10 vampires depleted to a group of 3 a loud crack and snap accompanied with each punch and kick
David kicked one vampire thug into a chair looking towards the Cable jumpers he shocks the vampire before the body fell lifeless
Samuel grabbed the second vampire guard arm bending it and snapping it off blood gushed in short spurts as a loud growl came from the thug he persisted and lunged to punch Sam and was met with a swing from the barbed wire bat to the head one eye bulging out from his socket
vampire guard 2: Go to hell he stuttered barely coherent before his head was smashed in chunks of brain splattered on the floor
Sam : tell the devil Sam sent ya
David : behind you David yelled toward Sam the third and final Bennett guard was hit in the head with a shoe
David grabbed the vampire guard by the collar staring into his eyes a growl emanated from him deep and not human it was a wolf one
David : did you kill them David asked while the vampire guard stayed silent
Vampire guard 3 : dead as you’ll be the vampire laughed his face met with a punch yet the vampire laughed hysterically through a blood nose he kept laughing till he was thrown on the floor
Sam took the bags off the heads of the mates they were alive barely and breathing was shallow
Sam: what did you do to them Sam asked the vampire guard seething with rage
vampire guard : we took them to a small town juiced them up to keep em alive longer we had a good doctor till your mate the uh shifter that animal stabbed the doctor in the chest killed him
Sam : what town Sam yelled to the vampire stern voice
vampire guard :for what it’s worth going there is a waste of your time everyone there is dead some of the Vampires from the Solaire clan wiped the place clean
vampire guard : if I give you the name of the town will you promise to keep me alive? he asked
Vampire : Clovertone is the town 3 miles from here the vampire answered Sam’s question
vampire guard : what are you doing no no you agreed to keep me alive the vampire pleaded
Sam grabbed the vampire who resisted as Sam pressed his thumbs into the vampire guards eye sockets the sound of screams filled the room till a loud ( thud ) came about the dead guards eyes red
David : it’s ok angel I got you he whispered to his mate looking at Sam getting darlin and carrying em
Sam : I hear footsteps we need to leave now David Sam yelled
David : I’ll have to carry Angel like this I can’t do it shifted they won’t be able to hold on
Sam : I’ll cover you stay behind me Sam says to David who nodded in agreement
Sam : this should be use some time to get out of this cabin he whispered to himself checking the Pistol one of those fancy ones gold plated White Handle with a Buck Engraving 20 rounds in the chamber he can’t afford to miss any shots he must make em count
The footsteps grew louder one guard stood in the kitchen knife in hand and another guard with brass knuckles lunged towards Sam who shoot them both in the head dropping the bastards
Sam kicks the front door down and looks towards a pick up truck carefully setting darlin the back passenger seat next to Angel
David : ok I’m ready David says to Sam
sam : you ever shot one of these before? Sam asked David looking to the 12 gauge shotgun matte black colored the word property of Bennett clan engraved on it
David : once for my 21st birthday with Asher glass soda bottles as target practice David says in response with a nod
Loud horns two trucks pulled up behind sam as the cowboy vampire struggled to start the truck
Sam : damn this truck is old come on baby come on He whispered as the truck hummed with life
Sam backed the truck up and sped off from the cabin the two trucks followed
David : I got a shot lined up David says as he manages to take out both the trucks tires leading to the rival vampires trucks crashing in a ditch followed by an explosion
Sam : your target practice payed off after all Sam chuckled impressed
David : you can thank Asher he came up with the soda bottle target practice he chuckled
5 hours passed by David and Samuel were inside the pack house awaiting news on the condition of their mates .
Marie Greer : the condition so far is stable it will take awhile for them to heal she replied to David
David : phew thank the heavens he whispered to himself
Sam : we did it we made it out alive saved our mates Sam says to the alpha
Sam looked at the unconscious Darlin slowly recovering from their wounds Sam couldn’t help but feel grace that things worked out well .
Sam: if I ever were to lose you I’d surely lose myself Sam singed softly to darlin who’d only ever hear him hum that song and fell in love with his voice more when he sang it for them on darlins birthday once Sam felt the memories flooding in a single tear of happiness left his eyes he knew he was safe that his mate and David’s are safe that they will make more memories all the love was too good to be gone
Sam : our future days , days of you and me he sang voice a bit trembly his heart his core flooding with relief and tears of joy that this whole nightmare was over . The moons glow stayed bright the stars twinkled it was a peaceful end to the battle .
