This is the final batch of episodes on the series, so here's the bits i liked/wanted to note on
Episode X: Union
Unicron's destroying everyone as expected, but isn't weird how he's mostly yellow here, when the intro depicts him as red?
Im not sure why but he mostly grunts and yells here.
The minicons had to pull up to even get a chance of defending Cybertron as well.
Thrust not into the whole Sideways deal makes sense but buddy had no idea what he was getting into, absoluely funny way to end off a character's arc, especially after getting the nickname 'squidhead' see ya later squiddy.
Episode XI: Origin
Unicron finally gets to speak here, and it's menacing, especially when he's practically two people at once somehow, but being the size of a planet has benefits i guess.
The whole "flesh" thing that he has internally is freaky, though in an alien sort of way, really like it, shows just how different he is from other Transformers.
The dream sequences bit was way underused, im glad we got to see Galvatrons dream: ruling an entire kingdom, even has his own badge and sash, cute.
Seeing what they did to put them into the subconcious i thought the sequences followed would be insanely trippy, but its kinda just popping from place to place, and meeting up with the minicons.
Episode XII: Mortal Combat (series finale)
Final episode time! Time to wrap up everything the show's thrown at us.
Remember how i said episode 8 had the best fight between Megatron and Optimus?, yeah i lied because the fight here between Galvatron and Optimus is the best fight in the show.
"Look Galvatron, i'm playing cheerleader with your horns, Ha!"
Optimus had no reason to pull this trick on Galvatron, major points on style buddy.
What are these two doing? Aren't yall suppose to be fighting to the death?, i mean you guys are rivals right?
Typical rivalry attacking tactics obviously. :<)
Seeing everything actually seemingly end well (for now) is quite nice, even with the whole, Galvatron disappearing act. What happened with Optimus was kinda ambiguous, but i guess that's why there's a sequel series, but as it is, it's a bittersweet ending for him. For once peace has been achieved and it's a neat bow on the ending of this show, i had a good time, see ya folks.
I love how even when the decepticons are winning, some nonsense is going on internally, and Starscream's sniffing out the malarky coming from rust. They even got a bootleg Hydra cannon.
On the autobot's side Hot Shot is crazy enough to decide that HE will talk to Galvatron because he has always seemed like the type to conversate right?
Episode v1: Drift
Holy retcons does this episode change up the continuity of this series.
The Minicons are cells from Unicron.
They were told about Earth millions of years ago, by some time travelling humans.
Use of Time travel to show the past of the Transformers born inside of Unicron?
Wrapping my head around that nonsense aside, its so good to see Starscream finally hustle up and do what's right and fight against Thrust, he's my favorite Decepticon here.
Episode VII: Portent
Starscream continues to run for the best character of the show, despite his desepticon siding, his actions make him into a kinder person who'd do much for what is right, even if it's taking on Thrust and Sideways.
His relationship with Alexis is SO cute, he's doing his best to keep her and the minicons safe, he really does have a heart underneath all that metal. π₯Ή
Him staying true to his word hurts but that's just his way.
Episode: VIII: Cramp
Major plot point here!
What a cute moon with horns, i forgot it was Unicron for a second, when did that statue get there too? It is a mystery that we'll probably never find out.
The best fight between Megatron and Optimus here, like seriously, they get roughed up in this one, i love it... aside from what happened next though.
You know... when they introduced the necklace made with a gem from Cybertron, had no idea that it'd end up with some symbolism. It really did cement the fact that he's gone. I've seen my fair share of Starscream iterations, and i think that this one has the best arc. Much love to him. π«‘
Episode IX: Alliance
I'm a sucker for whenever these two have to team up against a greater threat, it just means there's a LOT on the line. It doesn't come easy though, both sides do tend to argue for reasons i can't really blame the other for, even if it may seem petty.
The dedication to have scenes throughout the episode show that Galvatron is slowly transforming into his robot mode, is a dedicated effort, and it is insanely cool.
Was suprised to see Rad's family at all, the talk he had with his dad was sweet, Good dad.
Rad's Radical Dad dreamed of going to space, but he lets his son go to cybertron... is he stupid?
Look at all of Hot Shot's cool minicons.
I still think Jetfire should be commanding the Autobots so far, but atleast Hot Shot's giving it a try.
Also the Minicon's can speak in this episode, must have read a book or two.
"Has our ship always looked like a dick?" That doesn't matter because it can finally fly and now the autobots can go back to Cybertron.
Our human friends NEED to go to Cybertron, they will love it - The minicons, probably.
Episode 11: Miracle
The minicons are an enemy to Unicron, to where they decide to show the humans a vision of him. Why the humans? I dunno.
Minicons, share your energy with me, together! We can stop Megatron!
HOW did they do that?! I'm astonished confused and honestly suprised they didn't hold off longer to bring Optimus back.
Episode 111: Puppet
It's Nemesis Prime himself, kinda, this guy is RUTHLESS and gives trouble for BOTH sides of the war for this episode, even equipped with regeneration and a cool sword...
Nemesis has beaten our characters so bad they changed color! With the help of the Minicons, everyone beat by Nemesis Prime has gotten "reformatted and regenerated armors" according to Red Alert. Megatron decided to change his name to go along with his new look, now named Galvatron.
Episode 1v: Uprising
Big props for Starscreams new look, he pulls off that Thundercracker look nicely, and him wanting to go against Galvatron is apart of why i'm enjoying him. I hope the minicons recognize him.
I knew Sideways was crazy but working for Unicron is crazy, the minicons uniting against him is cute. He's a just a hater of our little guys.

Annnd its just a setup for the next season, which features moments such as...
The Matrix of Leadership (referred to as The Matrix of the Commander) has been kept at base as a reminder of Optimus' sacrifice.
Smokescreen has transitioned into Hoist now, congrats on the change buddy.
The autobots have been arguing a week after Optimus' disappearance and its getting rough, though Hot Shot is taking it the hardest, and needed the help to calm down, mostly through Scavenger beating him up.
I can still see him... through the minicons... Optimus Prime loved to collect Minicons...
Hot Shot begins to see visions of Optimus Prime (after some blows to the head), this time through Jetfire somehow, complete with voice and vision, its not bad though, he'll be ok.
Hot Shot SOMEHOW gets nominated to keep the Matrix of the Commander, and does become the Autobot Commander despite the fact that i personally think Jetfire would be better but what do i know...

This is the episode where the stakes get PUSHED because this is where they show that Optimus has THE MATRIX OF LEADERSHIP this is the first time this series it gets mentioned and shown.
This is also where Thrust gets referred to as "squid head" by Megatron and Thrust (the comeback king) mutters to himself that he should call Megatron "Flat head" and its so cute
"You... are a freak as a response to hearing his underling chuckle to himself made me guffaw.
Speaking of Megatron what is that build? He really is a toy.
I really like this pose Jetfire hits when he went to shield the decepticon's ship.
And then there's Optimus' plans, the plan to save the earth, to protect an ENTIRE planet.
He jumps in front of the Hydra Cannon's blast and tanks the hit... and suffers the consequence.
Immense damage taken from the force of the cannon, he did save the earth, but he lost his life in the process...
And so the earth spread stars that night in honor of Optimus Prime's Sacrifice, what an episode...
This Episode features the combination of all 3 great weapons formed by the minicons: The Star Saber, the Skyboom Shield, and the Requiem Blaster
The combination is just them being used as fuel as a cannon named the Hydra cannon, which SOUNDS cool, but is really just a big cannon, even with Thrust nerding out and explaning how the 9 headed Hydra is just like the 9 minicons needed for the cannon.
It's need that we finally get to see this thing move from the moon, it's been sitting up there for a hot minute, looks kinda bland though.
Something tells me i shouldn't be seeing this... it's the ship's secret cannon...
Oh look, a pretty comet, i hope it gets to-
Oh damn, that Hydra Cannon can really fire huh.
Surely they wouldn't blast an entire planet, right?
