your writing is all so incredible to read. i come back and reread everything youve written every once in awhile because its just so fucking good.
i dont know how to explain what i mean but something about the way you write just makes everything feel so real and tangible. all of your characters just feel. so real. they are all so multi dimensional. its honestly fucking incredible to read!!
and the internal dialogue of all of your characters is so distinct for each of them!! and the way you can leave things unsaid and they can still be so unbelievably present in the writing is just. so great. like. and every time i reread i feel like i find more things that connect to each other !!! like!! and like. oh my godddd. the way different povs can contradict each other in specific ways that make. SO MUCH SENSE??

hey, hello, so I’ve kind of been lurking on your ao3 page recently and you’ve made me fall completely in love with Apollo&Midnighter. I’ve been thinking about reading some of their comics, and I just wanted to ask if you have any particular recs or suggestions about where to start?

First off-- so sorry for the delayed response! Life has been very interesting this year.
If still relevant, I would say that my point of entry was Steve Orlando's Midnighter and Midnighter and Apollo runs, which has its flaws-- mostly in how it characterizes Apollo, in my opinion-- but was a very enjoyable read and doesn't require any real background knowledge.
The start of The Authority comics is also a good option. It's grittier and has a great cast of characters (Jenny Sparks my beloved). The first and second volumes are my favorite. I will give the disclaimer that as much as I love The Authority, the writing is so dedicated to being 'edgy' that it sometimes ends up being notably racist/misogynistic/etc. (many such cases, unfortunately).
