Hey! Can you guys reblog this if you are willing to roleplay some horror or darker themes?
quite honestly i do not think anyone is suprized me reblogging this
A visit
The carriage came to a halt, the soldier driving it quickly lowering himself from his perch. With hasty steps, the dark-iron clad driver hurried to open the cabin’s door, making way for the man stepping out of the carriage.
Glancing up at the small estate, Swain found himself wondering. Stepping past the seemingly light weight steel gate that parted for him, the man could feel the spells and wards around him, imbued in the steel fence and murals clinging to it, as well as the elegant garden the short path to the house took him through. He knew multiple passages into this house, yet he was also very convinced the deceiver had many more still concealed. Climbing the steps to the porch of the house, his cane clipped against the rock paneling of the deck.
Stopping in front of the large door made of dark oak, he took a moment to marvel the carpenter’s ability at it’s surface, noting the dark vines and the carving of roses on it’s surface. Fixing his collar slightly, Swain stood there in his dark green armscoat, waiting. The Deceiver knew he had arrived.

By the time the carriage of the general arrived to the gates of her old, yet well kept and preserved mansion, LeBlanc already stood at the window of her office, looking out of the window, hands slowly falling from her chest to the sides and she swayed out of the room, dark dress flowing behind her like a black velvet fountain.
Before she even reached the door, the man could her the quiet steps. Unlike many nobles in Noxus who could afford servants, Evaine lived alone. Besides some cats, trained rodents and crows, there was no other soul in this ancient house. “Jericho,“ she greeted him as she opened the door and stepped aside. The dress, despite it being quite open and seemingly too tight, was not meant to woo him, though. It was more of a display of her own personal taste and He, of all people, should know that. „I am so glad you could make it.“
Evaine’s dark lips formed a small smile as she reached out her hand for him to take it; the next stop would be a living room with an antique setting. The crimson walls held paintings of different canvases, most of them flowers (majority were roses, but there were also lillies and lavenders). The other side of the room was dominated by a large shelf, made of oak and painted black; it held many books which varied from age to age.
In the middle of a room there stood a long table, obviously meant for celebrations or at least a big amount of guests, but considering her isolation, not many have ever seen this room, not to mention have had the opportunity to sit there with her. Right now, though, two teacups along with dishes and plates filled with her own made food of different cuisines were awaiting for both Jericho and Evaine to dig in. „Please, take a seat,“ she guided him before positioning herself behind the table. Crossing her legs, she then turned her golden orbs at the general. It has been a long time since the two had had the possibility to sit down and have a talk.
“I could hardly turn your invitation down” Swain answered coolly, his voice not giving out delight nor annoyance as he took her offered hand. Bringing matron’s delicate hand to his mouth, the man’s lips brushed her knuckles ever so slightly. “It has been awhile, matron” the man said as he let her lead him inside the house, through these corridors he himself had so often walked through in the past. During time when he’d yet to forge a destiny of his own and had been put a simple pawn in LeBlanc’s game. He was aware she still perceived him as a tool, but a simple one? Those days were long gone. Swain, while thinking cautiously and with humility, now saw the two of them as equals.
“I am somewhat envious of how the years treat you, Evaine” He commented, taking the seat offered, his blood red eyes turning to hers. “Or the ineffectiveness of their treatment should I say?” He asked with a seeming mocking tone in his voice, gracing the beautiful sorceress with a rare display of humor. He knew some details of her youth and was well aware of the unnatural nature of the art. But LeBlanc had chosen wildly in keeping the secrets of her seeming immortality from her former pupil, for the Raven was known for feasting on even it’s own allies to gain victory.

"Master." Nickoli spoke plainly as he rapped his knuckles on the solid, oaken door of the Grand General's office. "I have those plans you requested from me, Sir. Do I have your permission to enter?"
The Grand General finished the paragraph of the letter he was writing before lifting the quill from the parchment of paper. Blood colored eyes did not leave the document as he identified the muffled voice coming from behind the double doors across the hall that was his office. “Cassadine. Enter” He answered sharply, his voice like a crack of a whip in the room, the general returning to finishing his writings before looking up again, now facing the younger noxian man. “You are slightly ahead of the deadline. Good” He said, the words not a compliment but a mere acknowledgement. With that said and done, the leader of Noxus fell silent, staring at the other man, awaiting for him to present his case.
Nickoli casually came in, closing the doors behind him as to keep this meeting quiet from those who also shared this particular building before turning and coming to stand before the General’s desk. “You have addressed you need for punctuality clearly, Sir. Being early is on time.” And being on time was late. Being late was… well..
“I know you only asked for two possibilities to further prevent Demacian spies and informants from entering the city, but I took the liberty to come up with seven.” He laid the folders on the desk before folding his hands behind his back. “Shall I go over each, or would you like to look them over at your own leisure?”
The general’s eyes remained locked at Nickoli the whole time the man was talking. His expression did not give out any emotion or thought passing through his mind, except the undivided attention he was granting his subordinate. As the man informed Swain of the lengths he’d gone to with his work, the Master Tactician spoke out in cool, neutral tone: “I do hope the quantity of your plans does not come at the cost of the quality of your plans, Cassadine”. The unspoken warning was obvious to both men. With that said, he let Nickoli finish his speech.
Lowering his gaze on the files placed on his desk, Swain reached for the first one, retrieving and opening it. “I want the rough details on each plan from yourself. I also want to hear how much time you think it would take to implement each one of these plans” The general said, the red orbs turning to Nickoli once more.

Kiss ? A noxian general of all people ? Pressing her lips in thin line she turned her gaze away, shed rather kiss a snake then someone like that. “While the offer is rather..flattering im afraid I am inclined to reject the such………….”
“I can understand the distastefulness of such suggestion. However…” The old general eyed the mage with mild suspicion. “Is there something on my persona you find unsettling miss? Or is it our nations’ regrettable history?”.
Out of mild respect she could have to someone like himself….she turned her gaze to old general offering semi polite smile. She heard of the said general….and not many of rumors were pleasant thus why it was wise to keep guard up, no matter how harmless situation might seemed. “Let us say mix of both…while past is past….that is not easy to be forgotten and alas I have a feeling or views on certain aspects may….differ per say “
Swain nodded his head at her explanation. “Ever considered a career as a diplomat, miss? You have potential for telling your opinions softly” he complimented Nessa. “And while it may not seem much, allow me to extend my condolences for the suffering Ionia underwent during our attack. It was a senseless waste of human life on both sides and unforgivable how my predecessor deployed such atrocious methods” The general sighed, appearing genuinely sorry. And he was. He’d been forced out of active duty when he had expressed desire to lead that very campaign. And should he’d been allowed to, Swain was convinced Ionia would, to this very day, still be Noxian colony state.

Worldbuilding: Old and New Noxus
Yes, I know. I know. It’s another god-damn Noxus post from me, but you must mistake me for someone who gives a damn, because I really don’t. I truly enjoy making these theories, and now I’ve had another join in and help me bang out any dents in it as well! My boyfriend @velkoz-thecuriouseye and I spent nearly a whole day speaking of nothing but Noxus and theories of how it became to be, as well as a few other things here and there, and here’s the result of our research!
// Excellent thinking and clever writing. I commend you for this theory. Swain being the architect of Noxus’ change does tie in many common themes the lores (both old and the new) have. There is not too much to add.
Your post made me feel bittersweet as I read through it. I have no doubts that Swain would be capable of all the feats and choices listed, but I mourn where that leads Swain as a character.
It is an epic story, but one that paints the “opposition” (=Swain and Black Rose) as villains who do not realize their plan will destroy everyone. As such, it saddens me that for all his brilliance and cunning, the Master Tactician in this scenario utterly fails to understand that his ways will not bring victory to him in the long run. If Swain’s plan is to continue, Noxus will eventually face a fate similar to that of Mordekaiser and Immortal Bastion, where the united forces of Valoran will destroy Noxus in order to save themselves.
It sounds like a Riot storyline in my ears. It has heroes that are of shades of gray, yet who strive for good at the very end, and it has evil villains who have to be stopped or all is lost (Lissandra in Freljold arc, Xerath in Shurima, the Black Mist in Bilgewater). The difference in this case however is that Swain is not seeking to consume a world, but rule it. And for him to have climbed so high in Noxus, I think it detrimental for a man of his intellect to not have recognized this kind of path would ruin Noxus.
I’d rather see Noxus’ degeneration something of a failing mind of Boram Darkwill, and Swain as an opportunist who recognized his symptoms long before others did, sped it up and then had himself appear as the savior of Noxus. And now, with Noxus in his grasp, he’d set his sights on uniting the torn and divided nation, polishing it’s military might in order to use it as means of conquering the world. Riven’s, Sion’s and Kled’s claim would still be just as Swain used deception and trickery instead of traditional strength, but it would portray Swain as more devious villain, who has not yet truly achieved his goal but instead only acquired the “tool” he needed to start making bid for the world domination.
Well, thats my thought anyway. Thoughts on this theory/storyline?
DONE!
Thanks @piltonoxidemacian for this idea! :D
A candle light dinner
Two knocks signaled the approach of someone outside Lilith’s cabin. “Miss?” Came the stern female voice from the other side, the tone of an uptight soldier obvious, just as obvious as the slight, controlled nervousness. “Grand General has asked you to join him for a dinner in captain’s cabin” The soldier informed, still not entering. She fixed her helmet, its bronze ornaments glittering in the shady light of the ship’s corridor. There was no precise knowledge who the woman they’d picked up at Bilgewater was, but she knew enough of her commander’s plan to know who she was to become. And an actress donning that role would have to be nothing short of cunning and dangerous. The raedsel readjusted the sheathe’d sword on her belt, feeling it nag her hip through the arms coat as she waited for the guest.
Meanwhile, Swain sat in captain’s cabin, his fingers drumming the surface of the navigator’s table in slow pace. The red eyes were fixed on the candle, the glittering of flame reflecting in crimson colored irises as he contemplated his plan once again. It was unusual gambit he’d chosen to play with Matron of the Black Rose. And they were taking an unusual risk in doing it. He let his eyes drift to the dinner table being prepared across the room, taking note of the flawless positioning f cutlery and pitchers of wine, as well as appetizing dish of fruits and wine bottle. Everything was being done by the etiquette. A wry smile flashed on his lips at this thought. The ship’s chef had apparently done more than just served soldiers his whole career. Swain’s eyes returned to the flame, man reminding himself to forward a word of compliment to the ship’s captain for discreet and professional crew.
She heard very well the voice behind the door of her cabin entrance, well trained yet nervous. Utterly amusing ! it was always a good fun to make military faces nervous with her presence, be it man or woman, mere solider or commander. “My my what an honor ! “ she spoke with soft glee suddenly opening her door surprising the woman in armor. Her cold blue eyes examined her escort, giving short curt nod raven haired woman took the lead not even bothering to wait for other who was still maybe shocked.
Humming tune of old lullaby she moved on her toes like a cat she was deep down, with hands behind her back. She was dressed simple for the trip. White linen cloth shirt, red corset that huged her curves followed by black pants. She always prefered simple yet alluring looks…so did her victims as well as employers. “Do tell darling when are we arriving ? “ she asked the woman in armor as the duo reached to the door of captain cabin. Light was still on, bit dim but there was sign that man behind this door was still wide awake and waiting .
The woman’s eyes shot wide for a second as Lilith stepped out of the room, immediately setting course for captain’s cabin. Hurrying after her, the raedsel wondered how she even knew where they were going, this being a large war galleon with multiple decks. Of course, had she lived in sailor town, she’d known each ship follows a similar general layout, so “captain’s cabin” was plenty of directions for someone from Bilgewater. “Miss, we should reach Zaun’s port within few days. Day after tomorrow with this wind” she recited what she’d heard the sailors talk earlier, her heavy armor clinking loudly in comparison to Lilith’s nearly silent and graceful steps.
Swain heard the two arrive. It was rather easy considering raedsel’s heavier outfit. And the silhouette of the woman through the door’s glass panel was likewise a decent giveaway. “Enter” He called from his seat, standing up as the two stepped in the cabin. “Thank you captain, that will be all” he dismissed the soldier, the woman nodding, leaving the two and locking the door after herself. The Grand General turned his focus at his date, bowing his head slightly at her. “I appreciate you accepting my invitation” He told her, voice devoid of the supposed gratitude. Walking over to the dinner table, he pulled a chair out for Lilith, motioning her to take a seat. “Please” the gentleman said.
Vixen observed the raedasel leaving them alone in cabin, a small devious grin blooming across those fully, crimson lips. Her ice cold eyes followed his every movement, slightly amused to be in this room with such man. It was always like she was a mere plaything to a best that could devour her with ease….even though woman would put up a fight. Giving a small bow with her head, the lady gladly took the seat tucking her long black hair to fall down her left side revealing her swan like pale neck. “Now dear general, how could I ever refuse ? After all I am here to keep my employer content no ? “ she asked with playful, seductive undertone, even though she doubted it would have any sort of effect on old raven,
Gazing upon the table, she noticed its typical setting ? Prehaps the one who arranged this had different intents unlike the two did. Nevertheless she did appriciate the good bottle of wine and decent meal now and then. “What do I owe this honor ? It is quite late if you dont mind me saying “ she spoke as her elbows leaned against the table, and her chin ontop of her crossed hands patinetly waiting to see what exactly he had in store for her this evening.
The tone did not go unnoticed by the general but nothing in his expression gave out that it would had anyhow affected him. Years of dealings in politics, and with Matron, had steeled Swain from such tricks. Smacking his lips once, as if thinking of something, he leaned forward from his chair, pouring a glass of wine for Lilith before serving one for himself as well. “Yes. It is indeed within your best interest to keep me content” He brought the glass to his lips, the crimson liquid touching gently his lips as he took a sip. “But as it currently stands, you do not even truly know what you’ve signed up for, do you?” He asked, eyeing her coolly.
Swain began filling his plate with salad and pieces of fruits, keeping up his small monolog. “You have a quiet, but reliable reputation as a woman who accepts difficult tasks. These tasks are however not of the same nature as traditional assassins’ in Noxus” The general picked up a fork and a knife, starting to dine. “You are a charlatan and a deceiver. A con artist” The grand general concluded. “Am I correct?”.
