Life update✨ my love is already working in Bordeaux and I'm still in Normandy waiting for my work contract to finish up so I can pack up and go there. It'll be our 3rd place living together and I'm super excited to decorate our new little home! Though on the flip side, I'm a little heartbroken having to leave Normandy. In my crusty French, I made a few friends that'll be hard to say goodbye to, and my coworkers are breaking my heart because I don't want to leave them. However, I am also excited for a new chapter to begin in a new city, fingers crossed everything will turn out alright! 🤍

11.06.2021 • 107/100 days of productivity: finally, after months, went outside, visited a bookstore, bought some books & other stuff from ikea, had some tea in a cafe, rearranged my desk after coming home, now writing the last assignment of the term with my friends via google meet. i'm so tired but still motivated as the term is almost over.

a few days ago i cycled home through the first thunderstorm of the year. it always feels like a special occasion to me: it's the starting shot of the summer that is approaching, slowly but surely wrapping up the academic year, and if not more free days, then at least the promise of spending more time outdoors with friends and family. until then, i'll be here at this desk, planning and teaching my lessons.

why does life always throws one thing, making u believe ‘ah i got this’, before it pours out everything it has in store for ya all at once? like, okay 0.o

reviewsium My summer book mail arrived yesterday morning and I finally got Night and Day by Virginia Woolf, yes the @penguinukbooks edition yes!, Shakespeare’s complete sonnets and poems (it’s huge) and a book I found interesting just by its title, Constellation myths. I missed reading about Greek-Roman mythology and summer is ideal for refreshing reads like this. Furthermore, I’ve finally got a notebook I am gonna use as writing journal: I’m writing down ideas, concepts, and quotes to keep me motivated. I am looking for some set up ideas to start ~
