Just a little creative rewiring...

Bad news is that it’s annoying af and I really don’t understand how it’s working, so if something goes wrong (or just goes weird, I suppose) I won’t have any idea what the problem is.

If worst comes to worst, I might have to do some creative rewiring of my own.

I’m still trying to figure out what’s going on, but my knowledge-- at least where tumblr is concerned-- is limited at best. If anyone has any idea what’s up, I’m all ears.

I don’t know if the problem will be resolved by tomorrow, but I’ll do what I can and try to keep you guys up-to-date.

I’m assuming most of you are here because you’ve seen the series before, but if not, here’s a warning: this post will contain major spoilers for the s4 finale.

Todd here raises some big questions. We saw him earlier in this episode when he was attacked and, presumably, infected with the outbreak mutagen. This all happens at the same time that the guys are wandering around trying to scavenge-- so a matter of hours at most.

So how does that mesh with the amount of time Don’s secondary mutation took? There’s something later on that suggests he was actually ill for some time before Insane in the Membrane, and, of course, he was sick during Return of Savanti-- which, by the way, took up two months.

Comparatively, Todd’s mutation was almost instant-- and it’s worth noting that, whatever amount of time passed between Outbreak and Good Genes (not counting the two months from Return of Savanti), Todd survived in this form.

“I hate bugs... and I hate ooze!”

There was clearly so much effort put into the Outbreak arc.

Tons of build-up in several different ways, a number of continuity nods and just so many little things that you don’t notice them all the first time through.

“Pack your equipment; you’re going to New York.”

He looks so horrified by that prospect.

“The alien DNA combined with the accelerants and modifications I made... that you asked me to make [...]”

You know, I always thought Stockman was just deflecting the blame here, but he’s actually protecting himself by pointing out that he did the job he was given-- or, rather, following instructions directly from the boss.

Makes sense considering who his boss used to be.

“Doctor, do you have a theory on this?”

“And Karai... stay away from my family!”

Why did he say that? Until two seconds prior, Karai was under the impression that the others had been killed. She wouldn’t have gone after them because she thought they weren’t going to cause her any more problems.

If nothing else, keeping quiet about it would have given them the upper hand in the next Foot encounter.

ALRIGHT.
