hi all! this is outside of what i normally post but i’ve decided to make this post on this blog because i’d like to keep my personal one private and not show my name or anything identifiable on it.

my best friend’s dog has a cancerous tumor that has to be removed and they have to do a fundraiser to raise the money for her surgery. she’s an absolute sweetheart and we’re all keeping our fingers crossed that it hasn’t spread and this ordeal will be over after the surgery.

i’m going to share it here because any donation helps! if you’re able to, even just a few dollars would be wonderful

i decided to get a head start on my summer wardrobe and the first thing i made was this super comfy striped top. i’ve gotten a couple of compliments on it so far, wearing it out and about.

in 2022, i made a lot of things. but if i had to narrow them down, these ten items were my absolute favorites. i followed patterns, and created my own, finally getting traction in my etsy shop.

2022 may be over, but my creations aren’t finished. there’s plenty more to come in 2023, and i can’t wait to see everything i make :)

happy holidays to all those celebrating! whether it’s christmas, hannukah, yule, kwanzaa, or anything else during the month of december, i hope you’re all doing well.

i wasn’t able to celebrate christmas on the 25th this year because me, my dad, and my stepmom all had covid and had to quarantine, so photos of gifts for my family members are on their way!

but i decided to use some of my leftover yarn stash to make a chunky finger-knitted blanket for my dogs, and they absolutely love it. it got down to -1ºf here in kentucky the other day so it was a very weather-appropriate gift.
