Ok so let's start with what made me look into this: I have a strong interest for gender issues, they are the main reason I got into sociology and have been the topic of a lot of my papers so far.

I really wanted to write my thesis about gender issues, and I wanted to take a culturalist approach. From there I chose the teacher that would be my relator, it was a easy choice since half of the teachers I had in these past years do not do cultural analysis, but take a more structural/quantitative approach. And among the ones that I had left I wanted to avoid the kind of relationships some of them build with students.

So I chose the professor who holds the Social Movements course, because of that my thesis had to be about Feminism (to relate her interest in social movements with mine with gender issues).

At first I considered writing it about the 4B movement but when I looked into the theoretical approach I had to take, I naturally fell into the "social movements' fragmentation" topic, and then I realized that the best and most interesting way to look into it is actually the TERF fenomenon, rather than the 4B movement.

So my thesis will be about how different kinds of exclusionism emerged in feminism since the second wave, because of how feminists framed differently what kind of equality women should get. All the way to the recent TERF narratives.
