huh. i am both wound and blade. neat.
Yes the Gods are loving, but they are also mighty. They are flawed, but they’re also giving and kind. They don’t need to be one or the other. All of their countless opposing facets can coexist at once.
Freyja /Hel altar that’s still in the works, started in the last year or so. If you couldn’t tell, I’ve been on Estrogen for a long time now 😆
I love you psychotic pagans
• Pagans that get delusions that interfere with worship!
• Pagans that get religious delusions! Delusions of grandeur! Delusions of control!
• Pagans who can’t discern between hallucinations, delusions, and the Gods!
• Pagans who get hallucinations of the Gods!
• Pagans that get auditory hallucinations! Tactile hallucinations! Visual hallucinations! Olfactory hallucinations! Internal hallucinations!
• Pagans who get intrusive thoughts!
• Pagans who experience negative symptoms that make it hard to worship!
• Pagans whose psychosis makes it hard to worship in general!
• Pagans who think their psychosis brings them closer to the Gods!
• Pagans who get disorganized thoughts. Who can’t pray because of them!
• Pagans on medication! Pagans who can’t be medicated, who don’t want to be medicated, who aren’t medicated!
You’re all seen. You’re all loved. The Gods understand when things get tough.

Ok it's more nuanced in that it seems to be a story illustrating how the need to perform hypermasculinity can make a society devolve into nothing but reactive blood-feuds...but man.
Something something. Just a reminder that you can say no to deities. Your boundaries absolutely matter.
A reminder!
Paganism is beautiful
I love seeing kemetic pagans
I love seeing celtic pagans
I love seeing slavic pagans
I love seeing norse pagans
I love seeing hellenic pagans
I love seeing wiccans
I love seeing eclectic pagans
I love seeing pagans who worship deities of multiple beliefs
I love seeing pagan witches
I love seeing pagans who aren't witches
I love seeing people follow what they believe, not out of fear of damnation, but out of love for the gods and goddesses.

I just think that having altars to the gods in our homes is so beautiful. It’s a practise that’s been carried down for thousands of years no matter how hard people have tried to wipe it out.
Scandinavian myths for children, Katya Anikina
Like a new friend!
I didn't realize this needed to be said, but uhh
If you are a Nazi, you have no place in paganism.
(Or anywhere, actually 🙂)
And to clarify (since ya'll need that, apparently), that includes people who are transphobic, homophobic, pro-eugenics (i.e. social darwinism anti-vaxxer people), anti-immigrant, racist, etc.
Ya'll don't belong here, paganism is not a safe place for you, and I don't want you interacting with my blog.
No TERFS, no conservatives, none of it. Freedom and equality for all.

Pagan writers when talking about female deities: "They're a mother goddess"
Pagan writers when talking about male deities: "Well, their role and function is a lot more complicated and important than just just being a father god, and here's a 10k word essay discussing why they're more than just a father god"
Hey, don't be afraid of things that challenge your faith. Seriously, don't.
Either they'll give you a new perspective on things, or you'll become more secure and confident in your current beliefs. But avoiding the hard questions leaves you in an echo chamber with half-baked ideas and an insecurity in yourself. Step out of your comfort zone so you have room to grow.
