had another Fields of Mistria babe rattling the bars of my brain cage DEMANDING to be unleashed, so here's a lady; Carla!
Since she exists alongside Anthea, she's not a farmer herself. Rather, she's a well-known theater actress who owns a vacation home in Mistria (one that she eventually starts living in as an actual home down the line once she falls for a certain blonde gardener...)
If she was actually in-game, I'm thinking said vacation home was severely damaged in the earthquake, and you'd eventually get a quest to fix it so she can come visit.
She's a straightforward and assertive person who doesn't mince words, but she doesn't go out of her way to be mean (unless the other person deserves it) and is skilled at giving criticism without it being soul-crushing to the receiver.
Just BARELY managed to finish this in time but I saw that today is the one year anniversary of when I first made Vee!
A whole year of this baby on-and-off hijacking my brain.... I'm so proud of her...........

Oh yeah I should probably. Talk about Anthea as a character huh. I really put that girl on this blog like two years ago and just never said anything about her-
WELL TIME TO CHANGE THAT
Anthea is a very quiet, shy, and sensitive young lady. She's deeply compassionate, but socially oblivious and easily manipulated. She's aware of this, and it doesn't exactly help her low confidence.
She has autism, and has lived with her mother for her entire life. Upon seeing the advertisement for free farmland in Mistria, she opted to take the plunge to gain some independence, but is secretly worried if she'll be able to handle life as a farmer while also balancing her own support needs.
Although she takes good care of herself physically, her immune system isn't the strongest, and illnesses and infections like to sneak up on her.
Although the kindness of the townsfolk has helped her to blossom socially, she struggles to get along with Juniper and March. Juniper reminds her of manipulative and catty girls who would victimize her in the past, and she finds March just plain unpleasant, and doesn't understand why he's so hostile towards her.
Finds comfort in Caldarus' company very early on, and when she doesn't have prior obligations to tend to around town, she likes to sit by his statue, whether it's to chat, enjoy some comfortable silence, or confide in him if she's had a rough day.
She quickly developed a crush on him even before he took on his mortal form. His kindness and calm demeanor always put her at ease, and his presence never fails to make her feel safe.
And spoilery stuff below the cut!
with Lore Developments I wanted to draw my version of the past Dragonsworn we see in the flashback! Rather than a reincarnation situation, tho, Anthea is simply their descendent (though I imagine the visual similarities between the two would give Caldarus pause when he first sees Anthea)
when you get crazy enough about The Character you'd think the situations you imagine them in would get more elaborate and lore intensive. but no. imagining my wizard pacing around huffily being slightly peeved at a mild inconvenience. I don’t even know what the inconvenience IS. and it's giving me enough joy to power a city for a month

y'know what, why not, EXCUSE FOR RANDOM VEE FACTS
The flytrap "mouths" on her head and tail can all be used for consumption. Not in the sense that they all have throats connecting to her stomach, but rather, they function like real carnivorous plants, able to trap small "prey" and digesting them while Vee absorbs the nutrients.
Usually she just traps bugs that amount to little more than a nibble, but the biggest thing she's ever ingested through her flytraps was a wild rat that got snagged by her tail while she was camping with friends. She was sleeping at the time, so she didn't even realize her tail caught anything until she woke up the next morning and felt that the bulb was heavier than usual, but whatever it caught was definitely not moving anymore so she didn't dare open it up to look.
