I've been really into this game called Grimshire, so I'm doodling some fan art! Honestly, what a stellar game, I 100% recommend. I like the characters and love the vibe. It's a farming game but with stakes. Could be a lil stressful but easiest mode is there too. Also there are cute slug and moth critters ✨
Thespian - Grimshire
Grimshire is out now in Early Access!! [HERE] I am extremely grateful and immensely proud to share that I was the character portrait artist for the game (I drew the faces you see during character dialogue)! I'll be celebrating by posting more fan art and fan trades for this game I'm already completely addicted to!~
Logan sneaks off to serenade his flock of alpheep. The self-proclaimed "Critter Groomer Extraordinaire" is also quite keen on the theatrical arts!

PLEASE check out this game and wishlist it on Steam. It's a farm sim, but it does a number of things differently. It's a truly challenging game where the farm is intrinsic to the story and doesn't become merely a chore to be automated and forgotten. It also doesn't devolve into "Become an overnight zillionare by growing beets". A plague is ravaging the countryside and has cut you off from trade, your role as a farmer here matters. If you do not grow and raise food, the villagers will starve. If you do not preserve your food, it will spoil. If you do not balance the needs of herbivores and carnivores.....well, I'd honestly rather not find out.
ive been playing furry farmsim + bonus dndcharacter in an outfit that i don't think works at all
Grimshire is so good even in EA its everything I ever wanted from Stardew Valley. The story is also great and drastically changes stuff and honestly I prefer the stress of starvation vs the stress of trying to complete the community center 😅
Like I love how the foragables have to grow for you to harvest them and you can even wait for some to go to seed (you can do this with your crops to!) so you can grow them at home. The irrigation system is way better then the sprinklers in stardew, in some ways harder but so much better.
Its a bit morbid but finally we have a game where you can butcher your farm animals. The animals put on weight and more weight = more meat, they also grow old and can die. You have to breed them or tame wild ones if you want more critters you cant just go to the store and buy them.
Also the culture of the town and the people itself. Its very bare bones still but you can tell there was care and thought put into them and the situation going on. Like yes sky burials and cremation for the ones who die is smart when you live in a society with both carnivores and herbivores... for obvious reasons. The townspeople are sweet and to the point in the way that is distinctively rural. They contribute to their own survival and yours and help a ton with the large projects. You definitely dont want anyone to die of starvation because everyone is sweet and an integral part of the community.

been playing a LOT of Grimshire lately (it's like furry Stardew Valley with actual stakes) and had to draw my character, Juneau. she is my special babygirl.
Grimshire MC, who has probably never even taken care of a house plant before: *wakes up in a remote farming village after a horrible incident* Gosh this is gonna be hard to get used to.
Also Grimshire MC when all the cutscenes finishes and my "100+ hour Stardew valley / Harvest Moon / Rune Factory save files" having ass takes control:
my deer farmer for videogame Grimshire :) he was an accountant/bankteller before his entire home burned to the ground due to the rabies outbreak and hes sooooo thrilled about it #hishorrorshowlife
