Sculptures by Jordan SpriggÂ
i was on the train and 3 drunk girls saw me and said i had nice brown eyes so they sang âbrown eyed girlâ to me
I threw up at a frat party and I was crying in the bathroom and a drunk girl went upstairs to get me a shirt and came back with a sweater and a kitten.
At the last party I went to three drunk girls fishtail braided my hair by committee
a drunk girl drew an eye on the back of my hand and then patted it with satisfaction and  whispered âcount olafâ
once at a barbecue a drunk girl gave the surgical scar on my shoulder a butterfly kiss and said âyouâre curedâ
A drunk girl at a bar I was at became worried that I wasnât getting enough nutrition and proceeded to hold peanuts to my lips and just keep saying âpeanut peanutâ until I would eat it. And after I allowed her to feed me a peanut she pet my hair and said âThank youâ.
Drunk girls, saving your life one wtf at a time.
Girls are a fucking gift donât let anyone tell you otherwise
Drunk girls are the best
One time this bar I was at sold empanadas and I bought one for this nice drink girl and she started crying and said âyouâre so nice, no oneâs ever bought me an empanada beforeâ
The âsex and gender are differentâ theory that cisgender people invented so they can grasp trans identity while still erasing it is toxic. It translates into âyour gender may be ____ but biologically you are _____â which normalizes the concept that genitalia validates your gender. Its nothing less than bullshit.
fucking thank you
Actually I think itâs because of health reasons
E.G: If youâre male but have a vagina and you get a letter - from your doctor - asking for your BIOLOGICAL SEX in regards to something like having a smear test - WHICH IS VERY IMPORTANT IF YOU HAVE A VAGINA - but you put male because you have this dangerous mindset that OP is throwing about then you could get CERVICAL CANCER and DIE.
Itâs nothing to do with trans erasure and spreading stuff like this WILL get people hurt.
^^^
Actually what you *think* is wrong.
âAs the kid of a doctor and a biologist, let me tell you something that just miiight go over some peopleâs (*cough cough terfs*) heads
- XX and XY (or any other combinations - there are others) chromosomes are a thing and are medically important
- genitals are a thing and are medically important
- horomones are a thing and are medically important
- the idea of a âbiological sexâ is still completely unnecessary. If you have XX chromosomes, you can tell your doctor that. If you have a penis, you can tell your doctor that. If you have high levels of both estrogen/testosterone, your doctor should probably know that already but I guess if you go to a new one you can tell them that. There is no situation in which one has to say âI am biologically male/femaleââ (x)
Or you can speak like a normal human and say my biological sex is "insert your biological sex" what you are suggesting people to do is mundane and specifically derived to separate yourself from others. You wanna appear to be a normal human don't say I have XX or XY chromosomes because you could possibly be a XXY, XXX or even a XYY. Chromosomes are wierd and complex like that. So stop being an ass on how saying biological sex is wrong and oppressive. For some trans* forcing them to say and admit that they have XX chromosomes may make them feel like they're still invalid that no matter what they do their genes define them as a woman even though they are a man. Acting all high and mighty when you don't even grasp how what you say can damage another in your damn community
sometimes life is just really great

You know what I want more of? Variety in aliens. No, I donât mean more designs for alien species. I mean variety within a species. They always seem to have the same government, the same culture, the same religion, the same language. Come on, humans donât work that way!Â
âSay, thereâs a Qualar over there. What are they saying?â
âNo idea.â
âWhat?â
âThatâs a Kinzian Qualar. Iâm a Surolian Qualar. Youâd have just as much luck understanding them as I would. Youâre lucky I even speak Human.â
âHuman isnât a language.â
âWhat?â
âCarl, weâve been speaking Russian. Thereâs also Arabic, French, Englishâabout a thousand othersââ
âHOW DO YOU HAVE SO MANY LANGUAGES YOUR PLANET IS TINY.â
My favorite part about this is that the alien is named âCarl.â
its kinda scary how your whole life depends on how well you do as a teenagerÂ
oh my god No it doesnât donât put this kind of pressure on people?? you can absolutely fuck up in your teen years and continue on to a good life just fine. you can drop out of school, get a GED, still go to college and finish your degree as late as you want. i know people in my school who still havenât graduated and theyâre 26. some older. you can always transfer someplace else, always build yourself up from the ground. after a certain amount of college credits, a lot of schools really donât care about your high school GED or your SAT scores anymore. if you fuck up in your teenage years you are not a failure!! you can ALWAYS re-invent yourself, always start over. there is always a second chance.
Reblogging this for my followers freaking out over art school/college. I dropped out of high school and never thought Iâd get into college as easily as I did. You will be fine!
Fun story my biology professor just told us: Â When he was 23 he was married to his wife and worked two jobs to support them since she was in college: gas station attendant and construction worker. Â He worked these two jobs because that was the only work he could get since he was at the reading level of a third grader. Â
One night he was writing something and his wife noticed he was writing from right to left. Â Since she was studying occupational therapy she realized he had a learning disability and started working with him. Â He slowly began to learn to read, and at 26 got his GED and went to college.
His first year of college he took the lowest level math course he could take, 001. Â Over the years he worked on learning what he needed to, ended up graduating with a biology degree. Â He then went on to get his masters and PhD, graduating at the top of his class. Â He is now an extremely accomplished biologist and professor.
So donât let anyone tell you that youâre future is based on your choices as a teenager.
Seriously. Â Do not believe this. Â You arenât even stuck with your choices you make in your 20s. Â I didnât start working in my current field until just after my 30th birthday. Â It has nothing to do with what I went to school for in my 20s. Â My husband has a political science degree, and heâs a sports journalist.
You are not tied to anything. Â Go. Â Be.
My day job did not exist when I was a teenager. And the idea of trying to be an author was a distant thing on my radar. I thought I was going to be an English teacher. And then I thought I was going to be a music teacher. And then I thought I was going to be a drama teacher.
Also in there: therapist, early childhood educator, then finally: web developerâbecause by then it was an actual thing that existed. I didnât actually figure out what IÂ âwanted to do when I grew upâ until about eight years ago, when I was 36. I tried pursuing writing when I was 30, stopped, then started pursuing it seriously again when I was 40.Â
There is always time to change. And donât let anyone tell you that high school is âthe best time of your lifeâ either, because thatâs bullshit too.
Reblogging for my followers. My high school teachers didnât know what to do with me, and I failed everything but a low photography grade. I thought university wasnât for me, and settled for marrying a mediocre man who spent all day on Warcraft. Then I went to community college. Now Iâm in uni doing a double English and philosophy degree, just back from America. I am also single.
Also important: College is not the only option. Donât let anyone try to tell you it is. If youâre not academically inclined, the trades are an option and they are a good optionâ if the only thing you think youâre good at is make-up do that. There are people who can live comfortably just doing make-up. We have this idea planted in our heads as teenagers (and younger) that not fitting into an academic mould of some sort means youâre failing at life and this is bullshit. Thereâs no reason to feel like youâre âfailing at lifeâ because you donât like school or were never good at it. We need skilled workers in the world, and the thing they donât tell you is all work is skilled work. If itâs work, it takes skill. Yes, this encompasses âserviceâ jobs, it encompasses all jobs. Please donât think that what you do, or what you have an interest in doing is of less value than something that requires a college education. This coming from the college-educated white girl who is a seamstress because itâs what I enjoy. If college isnât going to get you where you want to go, than you donât need to go! Itâs that simple. Take whatever path you need to get to where you are happy and comfortable and fufilled. If youâre doing what you love you are sucessful.
i didnât graduate with my bachelorâs until i was 26 and life took a few turns along the way but now, at 37, i have a job that makes me genuinely happy. and itâs got nothing to do with how well i did in high school.
This! This make me cry⌠Iâm 23 and I really donât know where Iâm going, so reading this kinds of storys makes me feel hope!
I love all this support and inspiring stories, but what I think op was getting at was that our teachers/parents/elders ingrain this idea in us that if we fuck up in our teens, we fuck up everything. So donât ever let adults make you feel less for needing/spending more time to achieve your goals. Youâre still amazing if you get a degree at 24 or 44 or even not at all
for everyone needing this as much as i do right now
exactly what i needed??? aaAAAAH

lesbian rule #1: always reblog megan fox and amanda seyfried making out
people rule #1: always reblog megan fox and amanda seyfried making out
straight boys are weak and pathetic, queer girls walk into the ladies changing room and see ten women naked, do they stare? do they say something inappropriate? do they make them uncomfortable? no because they have the common fucking sense to recognise when a situation is sexual and that people deserve the most basic level of respect to not be harassed, yet here we are banning shorts and low cut tops in school because straight boys are weak and pathetic
In a totally unsurprising development, Trumpâs camp is trying to block all recount efforts. Which begs the question, why?

At first I didnât understand the context and I was like âkinda specific but sure yeah Iâm downâ
Emancipated duels. Photo by Pavel Kurmilev
Baroness Lubinska who presided over the famous duel between Princess Pauline Metternich and the Countess Kielmannsegg in 1892, insisted that the duelists remove their clothing above their waists to avoid infection in the event that a sword pushed clothing into the wound it caused. Being a doctor, the baroness had seen many instances of septic infection in soldiers for this very reason throughout her years of medical training.
âThe cause of the duel is reputed to be an argument over arrangements for the Vienna Musical and Theatrical Exhibition.â - I like these ladies.
I arrive at the duelÂ
sword: sharpened
sepsis: prevented
tits: out
I AM FORCIBLY EJECTED FROM THE VIENNA MUSICAL AND THEATRICAL EXHIBITION
Duelists: Couldnât we just wash our shirts?
A Smart Lesbian: NO!
