You can choose to disengage with art for whatever reason you want, personal or political, it just. Even if you genuinely did always dislike it, it's not the time to be showboating about your discerning taste. It doesn't mean you had some unique insight into what a bad person the creator was. It just means you didn't like it.

Also if you do think like this, be cautious because... Do you think that people who make bad/shallow/unoriginal/squicky art are more likely to be secretly predatory, and are you prejudging people who make ugly art as bad people?
