Unpopular Opinion [Boku no Hero Academia]
I donât ship Todomomo.
I think that their interaction was minimal and bland.
And before you go ahead and throw that chapter of the manga where they were facing Aizawa for that exam in my faceâ yes, I realize and acknowledge its existence, however that mere chapter is not enough to establish a full blown relationship between the two. Yes, Shouto realized how insecure Momo is, and was a good person and handled it â but if weâre going by that logic shouldnât TodoDeku be canon already? (Disclaimer: I do not ship TodoDeku either.)
I donât see their interactions unique or of them showing interest for each other, whereas some of you might.
Though, as stated, that is my opinion and, as far as Iâve regarded of the fandom, a pretty unpopular opinion.
I CANT STOP LAUGHING ăgif not mineă

Disclaimer:Â Long text post reply. I am not claiming to speak on behalf of the Asexual/Grace/Demisexual (or any of the other Sexuality IDs) Community. This is just my response to comments like this regarding an informative comic I drew two months ago about demisexuality.
First off, I rarely or never engage in replying to comments or reblogs. And I actually donât get a lot of time to comb through and read through the comments, but I happened to tonight and while so many people who wrote comments/reblogs were 95% very nice and positive and itâs been really pleasantly overwhelming to find people relating to it and discovering something for themselves that they possibly belong in, the other 5% are special gems like these.
I also want to note that in my research prior to making my comic so it was informative as possible, I did not find information on âallosexualityâ being the term most commonly in the asexual community to refer to someone who is not asexual. Someone who is allosexual is someone who experiences sexual attraction. I was nicely informed of this from who people in the community happy to let me know and understand I did my best to be as informative as possible. For the person who mentioned (condescendingly, I might add) that they were surprised in my research that I did not find âdemisexualityâ was founded within an RPG forum, I want to say I could not find any legitimate resources except for claims and also: why does it matter as long as there seems to be a strong community of people who actually relate to it? It means something to them, and at a certain point, who are you to demonize them for appreciating a label that they feel represents them and how they feel? And for this person above, one, it appears you used the term âallosexualâ incorrectly? I feel like you clearly didnât read anything I wrote or what anyone else has possibly written on the topic. You seem to be projecting thoughts that I never even wrote, especially concerning gays/bisexuals. Itâs people like you and those who have similar misinformed thoughts behind why other people feel uncomfortable sharing this side of themselves with the world. Some people donât need the label and some people do, and despite it all, their feelings are still valid af. You can continue to invalidate everyone and accuse them of thinking everyone else is a âsex-obsessed pervertâ (but really, when did I ever write this???) but realize maybe you should just do more research and not expect everyone else to deal with the emotional labor of educating you. Iâm just going to assume you were having a bad day. I do not need to explain my feelings AGAIN, when I had taken the time to write and draw a freaking comic on demisexuality to defend and explain myself. For those of you who want to keep commenting and trying to speak over the demi/ace community, this community is still made up of REAL people with REAL feelings and they are genuine and valid.
Inform yourself or gtfoh. I and anyone else donât need to defend ourselves so Iâm not afraid to hit that block button. Maybe take the time to read through the comments of people who have really found the comic and demisexuality eye-opening for them. To quote @feministingforchange :Â âThe aspec part MATTERS, it counts, it doesnât just disappear, and aspec erasure is something that weâre currently fighting hard against bc it happens to us SO. DAMN. OFTEN.â
On a positive note: To everyone who has reached out to me privately, thank you for even taking the time to do so. Iâm sorry Iâm not very active on here and Iâd reply or share your messages, but I know some people who have contacted me directly on other platforms had stated that havenât come out as demi so I prefer to keep their privacy. Overall Iâm happy I made something to that seems to have helped people in various ways, whether itâs discovering they might possibly be demi, something to help share with their friends and family how they feel, or to even have just learned something new.Â
YOU ARE VALID. Ace, Aro, Demi, Gray, Flux, and whatever other label you may choose for yourselfâall a-spec people are valid!

Okay but the only thing for what i think itâs fine to use the concept of demisexuality is if you feel better with the term but itâs also true that almost everyone is demisexual, because obviously almost no one wants to fuck all the attractive people they see, most people first needs to have an emotional bond with the person to really want to have sex with them.Â
Ok bigot, you can fuck right off with your patronizing ignorance bc weâre not talking about âwanting sex with someoneâ you donut, weâre talking about âbeing sexually attracted to someoneâ (not everyone! FFS!). LEARN THE GODDAMN DIFFERENCE AND STFU
And for those actually interested in learning a thing âÂ
Allosexual/Alloromantic means:
âdoes not identify as ace/aro-specâ
Asexual/Aromanticism mean:
Asexuality/aromanticism is primarily defined as two spectrums of people who very rarely-to-never feel sexual/romantic attraction (fluctuation is possible). However, it is also acceptable for people who experience moderate to high sexual/romantic attraction but very rarely-to-never want to do anything about it (.e.g., sex/romance repulsed) to also ID on the aro/ace spectrums.

âMost people need an emotional bondâ
No they really donât. Hook up culture is massive in our time period and so is casual sex. These people arenât sleeping with random people because they have âemotional bondsâ. Theyâre sleeping with them because theyâre sexually attracted to them and they want to act on that. Which is fine.Â
Also, âeveryone is demisexualâ is incredibly incorrect. Most people are capable of being sexually attracted to someone without knowing them e.g. âIâd fuck Jason Momoa, heâs my celebrity crushâ. A good amount of the population experience the ability to be turned on by people they donât know personally or have never spoken with, simply based on looks. Itâs literally called Primary Sexual Attraction. There is a scientific term for it because it fucking exists.
THOUSANDS of people get off to porn without knowing the emotional baggage of the actors. I realise the commenter with her ruffled feathers was like âitâs normal not to like pornâ but porn is a booming industry for a reason. Literally, one of the only industries on earth that is not EVER going to feel the hit of any kind of recession or economic blight because it is that untouchable and prevalent. You can say âsome people donât like pornâ but that doesnât stop it being a multi million pound business that primarily works on the idea of sexual attraction to people youâve never met. Porn exists and is extremely successful. That doesnât disappear because you want to pretend that âeveryoneâs demisexual, OMFG YOUâRE NOT SPESHIFULâ.Â
Also if everyoneâs demisexual, are you saying sexual assault and rape only happens when a rare ânon-demisexualâ exists? Because, when Iâve been felt up in a club by some rando who gets his jollies touching me up, I donât remember having some deep emotional bond with them?
thank you, @toxicrants đđ
