I have a long-standing tradition with every book I read: I always read the first chapter, then skip to the last page to see the last sentence. Just the last sentence. It keeps my spoiler-hungry pigeon brain with terrible impulse control from failing the marshmallow test and reading the whole last chapter because I can’t wait to see what happens.
