i can't believe i have to witness a vegas golden knights v. carolina hurricanes stanley cup final. can we just blow up both teams instead?

idk i just think a lot about how when i was learning to ice skate my dad got a hand-me-down hockey helmet from one of my classmates' dad to protect my head in case i fell. if i were a boy i wouldn't have gotten someone else's castoffs, my dad probably would have invested in getting me proper protection. and for that matter i probably would've owned my own pair of skates instead of renting them from the local ice rink, and my dad would've signed me up for the first junior hockey league he could find - after teaching me himself, of course. we would've sat on the couch watching every game together. if i were a boy i would've been watching f1 every sunday morning with my dad instead of playing with legos behind the couch, and he would've explained everything to me. he probably would've taken me to a race by now instead of going with random coworkers and his brother that he barely talks to. if i were a boy he would've assumed i was interested in the sports he likes a long time ago, and i wouldn't have to convince him that i know what i'm talking about.
