there’s a bit I’ve had for a while, that I’m still not sure I’m going to keep it still- but I’ve rotated it in my head.

in the midst of Tessa and J not on speaking terms, there’s a moment in time where J gets put on involuntary vacation by Khan. With nothing to do- one thing leads to another- J ends up at one of the robo equivalent of a kindergarten, or “egg garden”.

for the DD’s it’s a bit puzzling. the colony is the first place they’ve really encountered UNN’s (outside of eating them, rip), or “growing” drones lol.

So the kids take one look at J and just think she’s a real character. incredibly endeared and amused by the way she talks to them like little tax paying adults. J is equally smug about the fact she has a squadron of little drones following her around doing whatever she says. (They think it’s a game) egg garden workers are in awe.
