we've got a life to love living.
You're correct and it makes my skin crawl.
They do protect each other. "They didn't do any of that", fakeclaiming evidence no matter what format it's in, denying and warping definitions to suit their narratives...People still deny Lily Orchard publicly groomed a 15 year old to this day, even though she was very publicly flirting with and encouraging the 15 year old to draw sexual artwork for her.
They din't care about "youth lib" or csa victims or any of that. They want to normalize having relationships with minors. That's all.
Idk what trans man needs to hear this but you're NOT evil or disgusting for being a man. You do NOT have to suffer for the sins of the patriarchy committed by cis dudes. Being a man doesn't invalidate the misogyny you experienced growing up or experience now. Being a man doesn't mean you deserve to be isolated. Being a man doesn't mean you're inherently predatory or scary. You didn't "choose" this, and finding your true self is NOT "betraying the community" because you happen to be a man and/or masculine rather than a woman and/or feminine. You ARE allowed to be upset when people "affirm" your gender by malgendering you.
You DO deserve a community that uplifts you. You DO deserve to experience trans joy. You DO deserve to have your voices heard and your struggles recognized. Wanting the bare minimum of solidarity is NOT "making everything about trans men".

This take is probably gonna be controversial on tumblr but fuck it we ball
It’s absolutely ethical to bully pedophiles and zoophiles and make them feel unwelcome in queer spaces.
Push them out and keep pressing them if they try to weasel back in. No matter how much they whine and bitch, keep pushing.
why would you post about being a p*do and then get mad when people are upset you’re a proud p*do?
Also here's some more symbols to look out for in regards to this stuff, just FYI.
Oh.
Oh so they've gotten so comfortable that they're wearing the old symbols just. Out in public on their person now.
No. Nuh uh. This is not the time to be niceys and take these peoples' feelers into consideration anymore.
Transition goals are getting to be hairy enough and live long enough and be fat enough to be a mall santa. Every day I stay alive so someday a long long time from now I can be big and old and bearded and kind. I will eat well and make children laugh and parents smile, I will wear red and it will bring out the uneven color of my skin. It will have been a long time since my silver hair was green or purple or blue. I will have tattoos on my skin under the suit and holes in my ears under the hat and I will spend my saturday afternoons in december pretending to be magical. In my lifetime the world has never been as scary as it is now but I will get through it because someday I am going to be a mall santa. Someday I am going to be a mall santa
"eeerm can transmascs under this posts shut up... this one is for the girlies..." i forgot that my entire life of suffering as a woman got erased actually the moment i put he him in my bio sorry
I think a lot of the transandrophobia discourse stems from the idea that transfems and transmascs are parallel and inverse. If a transfem experiences one thing, then transmascs must experience the same thing but opposite. In reality, there are gonna be challenges that transfems face that have no transmasc equivalent, challenges that transmascs face that have no transfem equivalent, and challenges that both face in similar or only slightly different ways. That's not even accounting for nonbinary and intersex people who have a whole host of their or challenges outside of this rigid framework we've recreated.

“Do trans men belong in women’s spaces?” I hate the phrasing of that question entirely. It’s secretly multiple questions disguised as one while using a vague term that serves no purpose other than to lead someone to a specific conclusion.
So let’s rephrase it.
“Do trans men belong in women’s spaces clinics that offer services meant for those with vaginas, uteruses, etc?” If they have the relevant anatomy that needs care, then obviously yes. I’m sorry, do you want trans men to get cancer and die because it went undetected too long? Because that’s how you get trans men to get cancer and die because it went undetected too long. Also, why is that space considered a women’s space to begin with and why should we let it stay that way?
“Do trans men belong in women’s spaces feminist advocacy groups fighting for abortion rights?” Yes because leaving trans men out means the people writing the law can simply forget trans men exist and write it in such a way where some asshole familiar with the law can use the exact wording to justify denying necessary care to a trans man because he is a trans man. If the law says “no woman should be denied access to abortion care…” and the trans man is legally a man, he will find himself in the same situation as the trans man who gets that phone call from his insurance saying “hey, sorry, but since you’re a man, we’re not covering that pap smear and you will be charged the full amount.” Not just in terms of paying either. “If you were a real man, you wouldn’t need an abortion. Come back after you fix your documents so they indicate you’re a female, but like, maybe motherhood would fix you so. Idk not my problem anymore. Goodbye!”
“Do trans men belong in women’s spaces lesbian book clubs or whatever?” They’re probably already there anyway and they’re not causing any problems just by being men in what is traditionally a women’s only thing. Plus, chances are they’ve been there since before coming out as trans so you’d just be kicking him out for coming out. I don’t have to explain to anyone why that’s kind of messed up, right?
“Do trans men belong in women’s spaces Should we kick people out of our arbitrarily female-only group if they come out as trans?” I guess I have to explain after all. It’s not gender validating for us to be suddenly ejected from every space we’ve found friends in before. You’re punishing someone for being trans. That’s all they did, was be trans.
need to see more tboy bears in the world WHERE ARE YOU????!!! 🤤🤤
been thinking abt this fact a lot and it makes me giddy
just some guy™
trans men and transmascs do need to hear they aren't hurting anyone for being masculine, but more than that they need to hear that they are loved for being masculine. your masculinity is wonderful and magical and you pull it off incredibly well. your masculinity is cool, it's desirable, it's attractive. there are people out there who will be drawn to you because of your masculinity, not just in spite of it. you deserve more than just to be tolerated in queer spaces. your masculinity deserves to be celebrated
the way I crave to be told this by the person who I thought loved me
im just gonna say it, fuck it:
if you think trans men are “just as bad as cis men because they are men,” you want us to detransition in order to be respected. you want a trans person to detransition in exchange for basic human decency.

i think the problem is people falsely think misandry is "women can oppress men" when what it actually means is things like "boys don't cry" and "men can't get pregnant" and in fact it's also a product of the patriarchy which is the root issue at hand. whether or not it's a systemic oppression is a moot point to it being a thing that exists
I'm seeing an uptick of "transfems are most likely to be transandrophobic", "most transandrophobia comes from transfems", etc, implied or stated in the transandrophobia tag recently.
This is not a transfem vs transmasc battle. Stop generalizing or assuming hostility from your fellow trans people, we're all in this together. It's people's actions not identity that define their character, is this not something we say frequently? "Don't assume I'm a predator/misogynist/bigot because I'm a trans man/masc/use he/him pronouns"? If you truly believe this you will extend it to others also.
Many of our greatest allies in the fight against transmasc erasure are transfems. You should also be an ally to transfems. Stop with your generalizations.
And while you're at it, remember those who don't fit into the binary. Transneutral, bigender, agender, genderqueer and all. Stop ignoring their existence, they are part of our battle too.
Trans unity now!
