The first week of artfight is now past us so feels like it's a good time to post my work so far :3

I'm really happy with how this one turned out ngl so hopefully i make more in this style soon (* ˘︶˘*)

Seriously, have you not noticed the large majority of posts, art, and fics about whatever their ship name is focus on yellow? That they tend to be about yellow’s issues being accepted and aided by blue? I’m being so serious, it’s not about the yaoi here, it’s about a group of disabled people historically villainized finally having something good in our corner.

How many times have you seen things like ‘a person who constantly asks for reassurance’, ‘people who are overly negative’, ‘people who get too hung up on fixing things’, and so on be called ‘red flags’? People with OCD symptoms are not often portrayed positively, typically being called things like ‘pathetic’ and treated as a joke. It is so insanely rare to see OCD symptoms treated like something worth loving rather than revolting.

It’s not about the fucking yaoi, it’s about disabled people finally getting good rep in terms of romance. Finally being portrayed as desirable instead of an ‘obvious rejection’, ‘asshole boyfriend gets punched in the face’ punchline.
