S4ep10

1: twelve, wearing red antlers, turns sharply and walks back inside the tardis, closing the door. nardole listens as they shout, “antlers! you are a time-space machine. you’re a vehicle! i’ve never asked you to cheer me up with hologrammatic antlers!”

2: eleven, sans jacket, leans on the console slightly, speaking to the ceiling. “are you there? can you hear me? oh, i’m a silly old. okay. the eye of orion, or wherever we need to go.” they look back down, and a lever in the foreground flips itself. they brace themself on the console at the resulting quake and grin delightedly.

3: eleven and war walk into ten’s tardis. “you’ve let this place go a bit,” war says, looking around. eleven tosses an orb up and down. “ah, it’s his grunge phase. he grows out of it.” ten strides around the console. “don’t you listen to them.”

4: nine rests a hand on the corner of the tardis, then brings their other hand up to the adjacent panel, beaming.

5: ten braces themself against a wall and looks up, grinning open-mouthed, at the tardis shaking high above.

6: eleven stands in a blinding white room in the tardis and gestures in obvious distress. “she’s just always been there for me, and taken care of me, and now it’s my turn and i don’t know what to do.”

7: eleven stands outside idris’s cell, facing away from her with a wondering expression. “i borrowed you.” she clutches the hexagonal bars of the cell as she responds, “borrowing implies the intention to return the thing that was taken. what makes you think i would ever give you back?”

8: twelve stands in the console room. “it’s a treadmill.” the tardis flashes lights in response, and they roll their head from side to side in exasperation. “yes, yes, i know. they’ll get it all wrong without me.”
