Just wanted to put this here that I left here and I'm probably not coming back. I think I prefer not having a thing to scroll, and Tumblr was the last thing I had to scroll. I've got Discord and Youtube now and that's it. Update: I now have bluesky, but I use it purely as a place to make posts and not to view posts.

the thing is that trans women are some of the most beautiful women in existence and trans women have some of the most beautiful unique relationships with femininity. the thing is that trans women are unequivocally women, not "only" in the social sense but every sense of the word, women in body and mind and spirit and women in whatever shape and form they like. the thing is that trans women deserve so so so so much more than what the world shoves onto them, the thing is that trans women deserve so so much love and appreciation for just existing. not for being shining models or pioneers but just living and loving and being here in this day and age. the thing is that transfemininity is uniquely beautiful and rare, we are so lucky and we all should be so grateful to live in a world with trans women. the thing is that trans women out there deserve more than just words of solidarity, the thing is that there will never not be a time when you should give a trans woman flowers or money or words of support or encouragement or a hug or new clothes. there will never be a time where you should not embrace trans women and support them no fucking matter what. no matter what. the thing is that trans women deserve everything in the fucking world. all the good things, every single last one

I'm Haya from Gaza , from a family of 8 people: my parents, two sons, and four daughters (two of them suffer from allergies).
Dear Humanity,
I'm Haya from Gaza , from a family of 8 people: my… Ahmed Alshawish needs your support for Emergency: Help Evacuate My Fa
I've witnessed the evidence of the tragedy that has struck our lives in Gaza, where my family and I have survived amidst numerous previous wars. But today, we face the most dangerous and fierce battle in the current war. The urgent need intensifies for us, as we have nothing left and are unable to secure our basic needs such as food, water, and safe shelter.
Here is our story - On October 7th, our lives changed forever, my family and I evacuated from northern Gaza to southern Gaza, hoping to return soon, but it wasn't meant to be. Our home was surrounded, burned, and then completely destroyed, Our home, once a fortress of hope, now lay in ruins, a stark reminder of our shattered dreams.
The night before we left from the north to the south was terrifying. Shelling sounds were everywhere, making a loud noise that felt like it went through our souls. Every explosions shook the ground like earthquakes, sending shockwaves of fear through our trembling bodies. filling us with fear. The air smelled of destruction and blood, making it hard to breathe. When dawn came, we saw the devastation around us, realizing our home was now a symbol of loss and despair.
We ran into the streets and with each step we took into the unknown streets, we felt as if we were plunging deeper into the abyss of our shattered existence, leaving behind everything we own in our home: Clothes, important official documents, the car, and literally it's almost everything - the enormity of our loss weighed heavily upon us.
Our home it was where we found hope, safety, and made precious memories. Losing it felt like losing years of our lives, leaving us adrift amidst the wreckage of our shattered existence.
A brief video depicting the devastation that struck our home and our entire neighborhood in Gaza.
Desperate Plea: Escaping Gaza's Allergy Nightmare
I, Haya, suffer from severe allergy to penicillin-derived medications, and my sister, Amal, also suffers from severe allergies to medications from my family such as Paracetamol and Ibuprofen.
These allergies create a deep sense of fear and anxiety for us, as we live in a constant state of tension and fear of anything that may require a visit to the hospital. We fear being given inappropriate medications due to the unavailability of suitable treatments in Gaza because of war or lack of awareness and not informing the doctor of our allergies, which could lead to serious consequences threatening our lives.
MY Father Income
Our dreams are heading towards oblivion in the labyrinth of an uncertain future
My story, along with my siblings, represents a united team of four individuals, three of whom are skilled programmers and one graphic designer. We work as freelancers in the world of freelancing.
As for my younger sister, she is a student studying at the College of Architecture. She has always carried a big dream in her heart, a dream of being part of changing Gaza, of making it more beautiful and better. She looked forward to the day when she would receive her degree and start building this dream. But the beginning of the war changed everything. The destruction of infrastructure and universities cast shadows of despair over her dreams.
When I think of my brother in Belgium, I can't help but feel deep sadness. He has been suffering from unbearable anxiety and insomnia since the outbreak of the war. Sleep eludes him at night, and his physical and mental health collapses under the weight of these heavy burdens, negatively affecting his performance at work. Problems and challenges pile up in front of him without the slightest opportunity for rest.
We all feel psychological pressure and extreme anxiety. The war hasn't been limited to external attacks but has deeply infiltrated our daily lives. We search among the rubble for a little safety and the basic resources for survival. Every day comes with a new challenge that we must overcome.
As we sway amidst the rubble of shattered dreams, our souls wrestle and our hearts beat strongly challenging the ravages of war.
Our parents earnestly seek a way to rescue us from this hell, feeling the heavy responsibility for every moment we spend under the shadows of fear and destruction. They dream of a safe place where they can build for us a better future, filled with security and hope, for we deserve life in all its meanings of comfort and peace.
Perhaps this fundraising campaign represents a light in the midst of darkness, it is indeed the only hope we cling to firmly.
I appeal to the world as a whole to hear my cry and the mournful cry of my family in Gaza. We need the helping hand that reaches out to wipe our tears and build a bridge to safety.
Your donation is not just a donation; it's an opportunity to rebuild life and brighten a better tomorrow. Be part of our hopeful story, for we need your hand to start anew.
The purpose of the fundraising campaign
The goal of this fundraising campaign is to rescue my family - my parents, my siblings, and me - through the Rafah Crossing to Egypt, which currently requires $5000 per person. This campaign is our only chance to stay alive, and I humbly request your assistance at this critical time. I will provide you with a comprehensive breakdown of the expenses, committing to transparency and clarity.

In the beginning 💢💢 I apologize to all of you for not responding to the messages you sent to check on my family, but my family and I are evacuating from east of Deir al-Balah to the seashore because all places have now become dangerous. Please pray for us. I may never be online again
Dear friends 🤍
Tears of joy mixed with feelings of gratitude to everyone who stood by me, who gave their time and effort in order to reach the campaign’s financial goal of 30k euros, but due to the circumstances that Gaza is going through and the closure of all land crossings, I was not able to achieve the main goal of the campaign, which is to leave Gaza to Safe country
Thanks and gratitude are due to:
1. The friends who pinned my story at the top of their page are amazing people.🌺🤍
2. The Ansar, each by name and title, are people of goodness and giving.🌺🤍
3.For those who put forward new ideas, the idea of artistic paintings, marches, and bread sales are the unknown soldiers🌺🤍
4. These amazing activists who share daily updates are like a dynamo who never stops serving those in need.🌺🤍
5. Friends who sent the campaign link to their friends and families outside this application, those who carry humanity in their hearts.🌺🤍

I inform you that thanks to you, I was able to support my family from your donations and campaign revenues. Before we left Rafah, I didn't have enough money to leave Thanks to your donations, I was able to leave Rafah to Khan Yunis.
What it cost me is as follows: Transportation: $400/600
Buy a tent for $500/$800
Land rent: $500/600
Building a very modest bathroom costs $200/300
Some incidental expenses are $300/500
Which means that I spent approximately $3,000 of the money of the group whose goal is to get out of Gaza to a safe country on transportation from Rafah to Khan Yunis.
Then, on 27may2024 💔, the occupation army threw a bomb near our tent in Khan Yunis, which led to the burning of the tent, the mattress, and everything else. We fled without taking anything with us. I told my friend @littlegermanboy 🤍about this incident and we fled to Deir al-Balah because there was no empty place. We sat in the east of Deir al-Balah.
This escape cost us more than before because of the outrageous prices we are experiencing here. This is just an example to tell you that a liter of diesel costs 100 dollars.
Which means that the cost of transportation to Deir al-Balah cost me as follows:
500$ transportation
500/700$ to buy a tent to replace the one that burned in Khanios
200/300$ to buy mattresses, blankets, pillows, and clothes for me and my daughter, Maryam But in Deir al-Balah, we did not rent land. We sat on government land for free
300/200$ to build a bathroom
All these expenses detract from the funds of the campaign, whose goal is to escape from Gaza to a safe country Of course, there are basic expenses, which are buying food, drinks, milk, and Cerelac for my daughter Maryam. Certainly, these are from the campaign’s money because we do not have any other income other than this campaign.
Now the Israeli occupation army has told us to leave Deir al-Balah to the west, towards the sea
The place I am in now is very dangerous, and if I decide to leave, it will cost me more than before, and this is not satisfactory. I spent the campaign’s money just to escape from one place to another. If the Rafah land crossing returns to work again, this means that the money we have is not enough to exit Gaza.
For this reason, we will raise the campaign goal to 50k euros

i know we joke about cis artists having the weirdest sense of anatomy, but also even when the anatomy is fine, no one seems to want to draw women doing normal things
this is exactly why i’m a huge fan of posemaniacs!
you get 3d model pose references with the option of having a male or female anatomy for each pose
they have a WIDE VARIETY of poses that you can search for using a TAG SYSTEM
(as you can see by the scroll bar in the second image there is Even More Tags)
you can select a pose you like for larger viewing and the convenience doesn’t stop!!!
you have full 360 viewing range of the pose plus zooming in and out
and what’s that? a TOOLBAR?? MENU?? THING??
Correct!
the eye button hold a very fun menu
negative space blacks out the background and fills the pose with a solid white silhouette
the “texture” refers to the skin situation of the model with the “color” and “grey” shown below
(i usually use color personally)
then there’s the option of different sized drawing grids(4 and 16 below)
idk wtf bounding box is about but it looks like this if it matters to you
“floor” toggles all shadows on the floor, “floor grid” you guessed it puts a like perspective guide grid on the floor that goes to forever, and “shadow” toggles ALL shading. there is NO lighting happening if you turn that off. NONE.
NEXT ITEM! that box thing with the line through it? flips the pose horizontally.
the little person symbol? lets you switch anatomies
camera icon? you can choose from a selection of preset camera angles PLUS an option for … idk what to call it but you can do this!
less flat right!! i’m sure there’s a word i just don’t know but this is maximum *that* so there is less *that* if you want it
the lightbulb gives you a menu like the camera one but it offers a selection of lighting styles with variable intensity
CHARMING!
and that’s not even everything this site provides!!!!!!! they have tutorials, instructional videos, lessons, all sorts of shit!!! (although they are vast majority if not all in japanese just a heads up)
AND ITS ALL FREE
DONT EVEN NEED TO SET UP AN ACCOUNT OR APPROVE OF COOKIES JUST GET IN DO YOUR THING GET OUT NO STRINGS ATTACHED
and if you don’t have ad blocker or are on mobile(like me) NOT TO WORRY
the ads are few and far between! ZERO video ads, NONE take over your screen or glitch you at all, they are of no concern i forget they’re there!
(this is not at all sponsored btw i’m just a genuine fan of this site and i’m happy to spread the good word unprompted)

unsung benefit i think a lot of ppl are sleeping on with using the public library is that i think its a great replacement for the dopamine hit some ppl get from online shopping. it kind of fills that niche of reserving something that you then get to anticipate the arrival of and enjoy when it arrives, but without like, the waste and the money.
bonus it ALSO fills that dopamine hit of in-person shopping. “oh I didn’t go in looking for this but hmm, I’m tempted… I can’t resist… oh ho ho I have made some irresponsible decisions at the library today [carrying my stack of ten random books]” and then it doesn’t even matter if you don’t like them because a) free b) you’re gonna give them back anyway
Librarian here! Please please please please PLEASE do this! We don’t have any way to know if you read them, and we don’t care! We’re happy to see those books go out because that helps our stats. And that affects how much money we can get.
So grab that silly paperback romance, and maybe this new YA fantasy, oh and check for the new movies too! And don’t forget to check Libby and hoopla for music and ebooks and e-audio.
tbh i don't think people really understand how dire the water situation is in the west bank. the last time i was in palestine, i could only shower once a month. ONCE A MONTH. we simply did not have enough water to sustain my whole family, because israel controls palestinians' water supply and does not give us enough to sustain ourselves in the long run. plus the water isn't very clean so it was very easy to get sick all the time. when we say that "palestinians drink more olive oil than water", it's not genuinely such a silly hyperbole as you might think.
The last time I was in the West Bank, I got violently ill because of the water and was basically required to drink only bottled water and while we could afford it, I kept thinking how many people here can't and will get as ill as I got.
Like I nearly ended up in a hospital. Can you imagine making formula with that water? Can you think of the elderly person who gets a bacterial infection just because they can't get clean water? And reminder that the water restrictions get worse in the summer when we need it the most.
^^ this is very true. the last time i was in the west bank, i was sick constantly and threw my guts up violently almost every night, to the point where i was bedridden almost every day and could literally never leave the house. i lost a violent amount of weight as well. the water simply is NOT clean and it's really unsafe. this same water is being used to grow plants and food, wash our clothes and dishes, and bathe, amongst other things. along with rising temperatures and harsher restrictions on the water supply, palestinians are not only chronically dehydrated, but are very susceptible to getting severe illnesses. people NEED to be paying more attention to the situation in the west bank, while also caring for gaza and the other occupied territories that are suffering as well.
