Not only is it a giant monster vs a giant robot fight, but it’s a giant robot monster fight with a woman protagonist. 

A woman in the military who’s main conflict is dealing with the distrust in her Mechagodzilla squad after accidentally causing the death of fellow soldiers during the first encounter with Godzilla. And she’s the one who gets to pilot the mech throughout the movie. 

I repeat: SHE’S THE ONE WHO GETS TO THROW DOWN AGAINST GODZILLA. 

SHE GETS TO THROW DOWN AGAINST HIM FOUR TIMES WITH INCREASING LEVELS OF AWESOME

This movie is getting all the heart eyes from me.

Looking forward to Minus Zero so much ❤️

God I’m really hoping it does, but something about that scene feels off. Based on the warm color grading of Godzilla and the composition, plus that scene’s use of a distinctly Minus One style big G (missing angular dorsal spikes jutting from it’s shoulders per the “new” design) leads me to believe that scene may be a dream, another nightmare (?) representing the threat of a new Godzilla not unlike Koichi’s other ptsd dream sequences in Minus One.

First off, DAMN!!!

Godzilla has been bulking up and hitting some radiation juice.

But also, you can hear an English-Speaker, possibly an American, say:

"If their operation fails, maybe we'll finally get to use it."

That has some scary implications.

Do they plan on nuking Godzilla? Do they have something even worse like the oxygen-destroyer, or possibly an American-sponsored Kaiju or a bio weapon?

Hedorah????

Would Hedorah be mutated nuclear waste that got turned into a bio-weapon but got sentience?
