This server is for chatting about anything, not just radical feminism, but you have to be a radfem (or rad-adjacent) to join it. This creates a comfortable online space where you are free to speak openly about feminism without getting harassed. (and can still talk about your favorite indie game or whatever)

If pronouns do not equal gender, and a woman can have any pronouns

If women can have any type of personality under the sun

If women can behave in any way

If women can have any interests or hobbies

If having/not having a vagina doesn't determine if you're a woman or not

If trans women don't need to have dysphoria/seek transition to be women

If women don't need to conform to the feminine gender roles of whatever culture they're from

If womanhood is entirely different from person to person, and the feeling of womanhood cannot be defined in any solid way

What is it that makes a lesbian want to only date women?

It has to be something only found in women and not in men in order to make sense.

What do all women have but not men that makes a lesbian a lesbian?

Here is what I think a lesbian is: a homosexual female. Someone who is female and only attracted to other females

Lesbians both have and like pussy. Thats all it is. If you think for whatever reason that it is wrong, that its a fetish, that it's immoral, etcetera.

Regardless of your reasoning, that makes you a homophobe.

Trans activists fight day and night to take away the ONE word we have to define ourselves. Not only that, but they try to change it into something completely undefineable.

They tell us a lesbian is actually a "non man attracted to other non men" (whatever that means) and whenever a lesbian puts her foot down and says "No, we just like pussy" they harass her and call her a bigot.

Redefining female homosexuality to include males is a gross display of homophobia.

And then you have the audacity to wonder why the LGB wants to separate from the TQIA+

We are different movements. You are against us, against homosexuality. You are not ashamed of it. But you deny it because you've changed the meaning of lesbian to fit your agenda. To make yourselves look morally superior.

Intersex people are identified as the wrong sex at birth because doctors look at their genitals when born and declare sex based on that. If an intersex man was born with a vagina the doctor would say "Its a girl!" And therefore that baby would be afab(<-a term created by the intersex community to describe exactly this scenario) and a trans person by definition is "someone who's gender identity does not align with their assigned gender at birth" therefore afabs cannot be transwomen 🤷‍♀️

The biggest enemies of trans people in Brazil are prostitution and religion. Brazil has a growing population of aggressive evangelical protestants who spread like a cancer, have seats in congress and hate women and LGBT people. It’s religious families who are abusing or kicking out LGBT minors, who have no skills, haven’t finished school, and end up in horrible survival prostitution situations to be able to feed themselves.

Never seen TRAs take on evangelicals tho, because they’re cowards who only punch down.

1. “homosexuals are genitalia obsessed/sex obsessed”

- old homophobic statement, obvious; gay people are perverse and shallow, sinners only obsessed with carnal aspects

2. “penis/vagina fetishism”

- as above. religious homophobes tend to see gay people as someone who has a fetish towards same sex bodies

3. “sex isn’t needed in a relationship”

- aka “but you can have a deep connection without that perverse stuff! why won’t you just be friends?”

4. “it’s shallow to reject someone only because they have a penis!”

- an accusation straight people never face; again, boiling down gay attraction and love to something purely physical and lacking depth

5. “what if you meet [opposite sex person] and fall in love?”

- “what if you meet the right man?”, nowadays changed to “what if you meet a trans girl and fall in love?”. making a point that the person just hasn’t met the “right” someone of the opposite sex yet 

6. “lesbians use strap-ons and dildos, so why don’t they like dick?”

- I heard it in conservative Poland at the age of 10 or so, from teenage boys who thought it meant lesbians actually like dick, or else they wouldn’t want to be penetrated with fake dick. they just hate men. or something. nowadays they hate trans women

7. “it’s a preference”

- again, an old notion that says it’s a choice, matter of personal tastes. “genital preference” currently

8. “homosexuals are reducing people to their genitalia”

- again, the implication that sex based attraction means objectification and reduction, that gay people see their potential partners as walking penises or vulvae and that there’s no depth or personal connection to it

9. “but sex doesn’t have to involve genitalia”

- being in an opposite sex relationship is “better” so you should go through the hassle of finding usually unsatisfying “alternative” methods instead of being with a partner you’d actually like. also a notion used in conversion therapy.

10. “homosexuality results from trauma”

- aka “it’s ok if you had trauma with penis!”. it’s the notion that exclusive same-sex attraction is just ptsd from being assaulted by an opposite sex person

11. “but lesbians like trans men/butches/intersex women” 

- again, the implication that since lesbians like “women who look like men”, it means they actually like men and seek out the closest substitute (also the notion that androgynous women are just imperfect copies of manhood) but won’t go for real men because of personal hangups 

Here is the thing. I believe it has happened MAYBE once. That's why I say statistically significant. The other reason I say statistically significant is because there are a statistically significant number of trans women that get beaten and raped for being forced into male spaces.

So no I will protect women. I fight and match to protect women. But I will not stand for anyone saying that 1 urban legend of the trans boogie women is a good reason for my sisters to be exposed to so much danger.

i’ll use vulvas/vaginas to illustrate what i mean, since the post already covered the lack of normalizing word options for breasts. people with vaginas struggle to talk about their genitals in the same easy, casual way many people with penises do because there simply is no comfortable word with which to do so. they must choose either to objectify, demean, dumb down or mock their own bodies:

derogatory: cunt, pussy, minge, twat, hole
