Akutagawa's notion of unity makes an appearance again, when he uses 僕等 (yatsugarera) in p6, once again, talking of himself and Atsushi as one unit. He doesn't use words that so clearly convey togetherness in this chapter other than here.

There's another way to imply it though. Like here, in p29, where he uses the name of his and Atsushi's attack. I'm beyond tickled that he speaks of it so naturally, like it's a part of him too. A part of them.

But the reason I'm making this at all and the reason I might just vibrate out of my skin about it is the p32 panel.

This is the continuation of Akutagawa's speech. And. For the first time EVER he is addressing Atsushi with 君 (kimi) and not 貴様 (kisama).

貴様 is a pretty damn rude way to address someone, it's hostile and aggressive, can be an insult in itself.

It's definitely not Atsushi saying this either. It wouldn't make any sense with the flow of the dialogue - and also Atsushi addresses Akutagawa with お前 (omae), a more informal and a bit more rude pronoun than 君.

And 君 is a polite way to address an equal, can also be affectionate - implying a certain closeness, whether it's friendly or romantic or familial.
