Absurd. If anything Belle was abusive towards him. She played on his emotions and his fears of abandoment. She tried to take his son from him, she forced him out of a town that his curse created. She killed a man and then blamed Rumple for it. Belle was a nightmare. That’s not me saying that Rumple was an angel or anything. He lied to her. A lot. He cheated on her and she him. Rumbelle was once a beautiful ship but the writers ruined it.
