Being physically changed by the Kharaa. Being emotionally changed by the beauty of 4546b. Being mentally changed by the trauma, but also being mentally changed in realising that living isn't just surviving, and that I think Ryley learned, and never knew before, that no act of kindness is ever wasted or too small.

The way the planet itself was changed, both by terrible mistakes and acts of cruelty, and by the kindness Ryley bestowed and the devotion the Sea Emperor had for her children, for the planet's very survival.

Being unable to go back to before, and in a lot of ways, not wanting to go back to before. Just being changed, irreversibly and irrefutably.

we already know they’re a lot like spiders- with their sight, figure, and right down to how they hunt! And if the crash zone was their laying and birthing zone like most animals- they get defensive and aggressive! What if reapers weren’t as aggressive before! (Hence why they won’t attack other creatures) so the smell of the sea-moth or any device would remind them of the aurora! Which would send them into a fight mode and defend mode! And usually pregnant creatures tend to get VERY defensive especially in breeding zones :)

And… I don’t really hate reapers. I can’t really hate any living thing (…except for cave crawlers actually…). It’s just not how I am.
